Good if this is what you are looking for... - As I journey from a begining into intermediate player, this is by far the best thing I have found for scales, chords, arpeggios and general visualization of the guitar fretboard. This software would be most appropriate for begining, itermediate or advanced players with decent knowledge of music theory who want to expand their practical application of theory. It is most useful if you understand chord construction theory and can recognize the basic shapes on the fretboard. This is not a chord or scale book, it is much more powerful. The interface is very functional and powerful however not so "slick" looking. In this case I care most about functionality. Again, this is not the right software for everyone (in fact it may be the wrong software for many), but has opened up my playing a lot without having to have a stack of scale and chord books with me all the time. It has really helped me progress.
