Terrible, almost no functionality - You cant narrow down "For Sale" any lower, so you do a search for a bike and you get cars, toys, clothes, literally everything jumbled together. No filters for pictures only, nothing. And then it just links you to craigslist anyway, where you do have all this functionality. What is the point? Complete and utter waste of money and time. I would like a refund but I am not holding my breath.

Non-Functional App - As of today (Jan 1 2014) this app is totally non-functional. Do not bother to buy it.
Terrible application - This app has many issues including not be able to filter on specific categories, no way to view past the first 100 matches, etc… Don’t waste your money.
Best of the craigsilst apps so far - I have all the Craigslist programs for the Mac that I can find on the app store. They were all pretty much unacceptable except this one. It is usable but not easy to modify searches. The notifications function works well and is helpful. I hope that they will continue to improve the interface and functionality as it is an app that is sorely needed on the Mac.
Questionable Value - I bought this app today. It loaded successfully and it runs fine on my MacBook Pro running Mavericks. The user interface is a bit clunky and the documentation consists of fewer than 100 words and is of no value, but I managed to figure out how to use the app without too much trouble. I bought the app because i am a freelance writer and I use Craigslist to look for writing opportunities around the country. This app allowed me to make a list of the cities I usually check so I can check them all at once. That’s good. Summaries of the ads are presented in a nice list and you can open the actual posting from that list. That’s good. Unfortunately, that’s it for the good. It appears to be the case that the app lists only those ads that were posted on today’s date, and my guess is only those that have been posted recently. My search of a dozen major US cities returned exactly 2 ads for writer/editor jobs, both with today’s date. My iPhone app returns several hundred ads for the same search. The iPhone a bit clumsy for scanning that many ads, which is why I thought using my laptop would be a more efficient option. I cannot say for certain that there is no way to see all the open ads, because as I mentioned the UI is clunky and the documentation essentially non-existent. So, while writing this review I went back to the app to see I had perhaps missed something in the filters which would allow me to see all the open ads I searched for. Unfortunately that activity caused the filter dialog box to get stuck open. To get it to close I had to Quit and Restart. I think the developer of this app would do himself a favor by changing the name to something other than GreatApp for Craigslist. Seeing that name when you are restarting an application that crashed while you are trying to make it do what can be done easily on an iPhone just doesn’t leave a positive feeling. If all you need are notifications of new postings, this app is serviceable. Otherwise look elsewhere.
Has potential, but too many bugs - Great idea for an app, but it simply doesn’t work in its current form. 90% of listings display without images. Titles and descriptions that are visible are full of html making them hard to read. On 60-70% of listings, clicking Open in Browser does nothing so there’s no way to see the listing barring going to craigslist and trying to search for it (which negates the need for an app). Crashes all the time. Searching is unintuitive. The app could be great if the author would take some time to fix the bugs and polish it up.
