Best Mac Facebook app! - Originally had MenuTab which I paid for and used as long as its been around and loved it more then all the other Facebook for Mac apps and it beats leaving a browser open all the time. I was extremely excited when I saw FIPLAB released a new app for Facebook and this one is 10x better and smoother then the original. The original was getting buggy and had issues, but this app seems to have addressed all the issues and I am more then pleased! Thank you for creating this new app optimized for Yosemite and thank you for not charging your previous users for the new app which I’m sure will be a paid app! Keep up the great work which keeps your users happy!

Not a bad app with fatal flaw. - No matter if it’s set in preferences to not start with yosemite it still does. Nothing I can do to keep it from starting except to uninstall it unfortunately.

Its OK… It could be a lot better - I have an issue with the fact that when it needs to update a font, it causes like glitches on your computer, your screen sits there and glitches bout every 10-15 seconds the entire time its updating…. You cant do anything else on your computer untio the update is done… this issue just started about 2 weeks ago for me…. This app is also a lot different and doesnt seem to be as simple and easy to navigate as the older app version.

Something fishy going on… - Go For Facebook hasn’t worked properly for me in months. I launch it, click in the window to type a status and my cursor is missing or the insertion point jumps to a random location if I’m editing text. Layout is messed up, elements don’t line up properly or are obscured depending on your window width. None of these issues occured in the past for me. FIPLAB just released a new app on their website called Made for Facebook (and absent here from the App Store) that is remarkably similar to their Go for Facebook app. I mean remarkably similar. I tried the 3-day trial of Made for Facebook and it’s basically the same thing as Go for Facebook, except it works and doesn’t have the wonky behavior. - They’re charging $9.99 for it - It’s not available on the App Store (Why not?) - It’s basically a renamed version of MenuTab Pro / Go For Facebook This is the third Facebook app by this company and it basically is the same thing as the previous two apps. Did FIPLAB deliberately sabotage MenuTab Pro and Go for Facebook via updates, so that people would become frustrated and buy their new Made for Facebook app? Is that why it works and Go does not? Is that why it’s being sold on their web site for $9.99 USD but unavailable here on the App Store? The trial is only for 3 days - that’s kind of lame. You’d expect at least 10-14 days, preferrably 30 days. Also, $10 to basically have a constant menu bar notification of Facebook activity? That’s a pretty expensive price. Not to mention, I already bought MenuTab Pro and Go for Facebook. Even if the price was fair (Under $5 USD), no way I’m buying this new app, which is basically a working version of Go for Facebook / MenuTab Pro that I already bought. If FIPLAB wants to charge for updates and they’re actually providing viable, new features, I’m good with that. But I strongly suspect that they’ve released a re-branded version of MenuTab Pro / Go For Facebook and called it Made for Facebook, with very little new functionality. Even worse I suspect they’ve sabotaged the previous two aforementioned apps so that folks have no recourse of action but to buy this new Made for Facebook app while their previous versions no longer work due to “updates”. I’ll be deleting Go for Facebook off my Macs and any other FIPLAB apps I have. I suspect something fishy is going on and I don’t want any part in supporting companies and behavior like this. Someone else will code a superior app and I will buy it and support that company.

Meh. - I like the news updates on the side and it has an easy to naviagate interface. Lately, though, it has been very glitchy. It freezes every 10 seconds or so. It never used to do that, just in the last few months. Makes me not want to use it.
