Best Mac Facebook app! - Originally had MenuTab which I paid for and used as long as its been around and loved it more then all the other Facebook for Mac apps and it beats leaving a browser open all the time. I was extremely excited when I saw FIPLAB released a new app for Facebook and this one is 10x better and smoother then the original. The original was getting buggy and had issues, but this app seems to have addressed all the issues and I am more then pleased! Thank you for creating this new app optimized for Yosemite and thank you for not charging your previous users for the new app which I’m sure will be a paid app! Keep up the great work which keeps your users happy!

Not a bad app with fatal flaw. - No matter if it’s set in preferences to not start with yosemite it still does. Nothing I can do to keep it from starting except to uninstall it unfortunately.

Was Great But Now Has Issues - I’ve been using this app for a very long time and loved it. It’s been so convienant to use rather than haing Facebook open in my browser. I use Facebook a lot for my business as well as keeping in touch with friends, family, and business aquintances. However, in recent updates, there have been issues with the app. Most recently, it has been having problems when sharing photos, etc. My business is in photography/cinema. I need to be able to share photos, links, etc. reliably. There have been other small glitches with the app as well that need some attention. I really don’t want to stop using the app, but recently I have been having to rely on my web browser to use Facebook. I would love to see this app back up and running again. :)

I’ve unfortunately switched back to a browser - I like the idea of having FB in the menu bar, but so many things about this are broken that I find myself using a browser or pulling out my phone to check FB. The chat windows overlay the picture/attachment/etc icons over the text box, and typing in the text box randomly scrolls the feed in the background. The text box in the chat window doesn’t expand properly as you type, so long messages you just need to be a good typist because you can’t see what you’re doing. Since the last update, any areas of static pictures that are pure white have begun showing up pink. Not all my groups show up in the sidebar, and managing a business page is such a pain I don’t even try anymore. Oh, and it annoys you to download the company’s other software every time you restart your computer.

Download this if you want an ad about their software - Funny thing is, clicking the Rate button option in their app and selecting you’re not happy about the program will send you an internal feeback page. Clicking you’re happy with it will ask you to leave a positive review in the appstore and download more software. Haha so funny. Also, if you want a fake notification asking you to download more “great” software from their team whenever you open your Mac, yeah get this app. It’ll be great.

Something Bad Happened To A Formerly Great App - I don’t know why, when or how it happened…but the Go For Facebook app is completely unuseable at this point!!! When I open my Homepage, the sidebar with Suggested Pages, Trending, etc. takes over the entire page, plopping itself squarely in the center of the page right over my News Feed!!! I tried clicking it away…but no luck! As I scroll, these annoying modules disappear for a second only to come back once again, obscuring everything in the middle of the Home Page!!! I have attempted all sorts of work arounds… even going so far as to delete all my Suggested Pages whilst signed into my account through the browser! Curiously, this does not happen when I am signed in normally to my account. No annoying duplicated modules or elements on the page! I can only conclude then that this is a GIGANTIC and OBNOXIOUS bug in the app itself (which oddly enough, doesn’t seem to be a problem for other reviewers here!) The bug has rendered my Facebook experience frustrating and extremely unpleasant to say the least! If the developers ever decide to address this & fix their broken app, I’d consider downloading it again. It was a good wrap around app for FB and integrated well with the OS X until this happened. A shame really! :(
