"In the end, GL Golf is an incredibly deep game, serving up six courses and tons of options, it never gets old" -iPhoneGamingNetwork.com
"Of all the golf games and simulations I’ve played so far for the iPhone, there’s one that stands head-and-shoulders above the rest. GL Golf." -intomobile.com
"I must say, this app is a very fun app. I am kind of addicted." -iPhoneMatters.com
"The game play is solid. To swing the club just double tap on the screen; when the power meter reaches to a spot you want, just single tap and the club will swing, hitting the ball. You can change the type of club you have by dragging your finger up/down the screen, thereby changing the range. The game does pause itself when you tap the home button, so if you get a call while playing, you won't lose your game. " -Tuaw.com

very cool addictive and fun - mechanics and sounds are great, graphics is cool - it is simple, but has nice resolution and a lot of preferences to customize. lots of additional courses are available for purchase from developer. The game supports up to 4 players, has 6 courses (in this 15 bucks version), 3 levels of difficulty and many other cool features. there is a demo at the website so you can try before buy. developers support for this game is very good too. so overall if you like golf games - this is a must buy.
Add ons make this a $50 POC - Played the free version, thought the graphics were 1995 crappy but still a fun little game to get my golf fix. Paid for the full $15 version, fully knowing that it came with a limited number of courses, and more courses would be extra. Didn't know that to get blue/green tees and alternate hole placements you have to pay another $5 for the "tee/hole" add one. C'mon, guys. The graphics are beyond cheese, the 3D engine is weak (see what happens on a funky lie), and the music, well, I can't believe you actually credit the guy that did the music. And, though it doesn't really matter to game play, having at least the option of a female avatar would be in good taste. This is the 21st century after all, and this game is far from it. My advice? Go putt some balls in the living room, and hit some chips in the backyard. It will be more realistic, improve your game, and won't waste your money.
