-Converts your GIF to a movie file.
-Views your GIF file in a loop

Using Animated Transparent GIFs in your Keynote presentation was never this easy. It converts the GIF89a with a transparent layer to a Quicktime MOV using a special codec that allows transparent background.
This is the only way to add transparent GIFs to your Keynote presentation.
Although animated GIFs is an old technology, most of you have already created those animations and were using it on PowerPoint presentations. When changing to Keynote, this is the first disappointment. Now it is not !
As a Quicktime movie, the animated GIF can be modified with all Keynote properties and you can keep the beauty of your presentation.

** It does not create transparency in GIF files without transparency. Be aware that sometime white background IS white, not transparent. Other image editing software may be used to create the transparent layer. Adobe Photoshop for example.

Nice presentations - I have many animated GIFs I love to use in my presentations and couldn't. There is no other solution for animated GIFs with transparent backgrounds. My keynotes presentations are now much better! Also, It is much easier to manage them inside keynote as movies than as images, we can crop the video timeline and much more inside Inspector. So even non transparent GIFs, but animated have benefits.

Poorly done - App locks up once you add your .gif - have to force quit. Ruins most .gif files unless you only need the transparent moving part.
