Basic. But good. - Yeah it's super basic. But it works great! If you're looking for a simple Mac based animated GIF tool - look no further. I had used more sophisticated tools for banners and such when I was using Windows. But I've learned that flashy animated GIFs look very 1980ish. In fact a simple rotation of GIF images is much cleaner looking, and more up to date. So how can you beat this neat little tool? It works great for producing simple animated GIF's - exactly what I was looking for. I'm happy with it.

Frozen - Program Freezes, using Lion, MP4 dropped a video into the program and all I get is a beach ball forever. Waste of money.

Yes it’s worth a buck... - I wanted to animate static images into an animation for testing (pngs), and once I realized that it won’t load if you have an alpha channel and exported with the images on a white background, it worked perfectly. I’ve gotten my dollars worth in the first 5 minutes of owning it, though that depends on what you’re looking for. I can’t comment on how it handles video since I haven’t tried it (and probably won’t), but that’s not what I was looking for. The issue with alpha is an issue with the GIF format itself - though a warning might have been nice.

Yes it is worth a buck :-) - I needed to make a bunch of still frames in to an animated GIF. (99 jpegs). I found this, it did the job just fine with no hassle. Recommended.

Perfect - A great little tool for combining images. Those suggesting that this 99 cent tool needs to have more features than Photoshop have probubly never paid for Photoshop. It does what it needs to do with zero learning curve and looks good on my retina display while doing it. To the developer: I almost didn't buy this app becuase of the low star rating. I suggest making slightly better screenshots on the next release and then raising the price to $4.99 to price the complainers out of the market. It's totally worth it. You just have to make it look like a quailty product and you'll have quality customers.
