FreeVPN, best free VPN proxy. Protect online privacy, secure WiFi hotspots, and let you access more contents anytime anywhere.
FreeVPN is purely anonymous, users DO NOT need to sign up and login to use this VPN service.
# Protect online privacy
Using VPN (virtual private network) technology, all user data can be encrypted, including web browsing in any browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc), file download, email, chat, game, online banking service, and so on.
Your IP address is also changed when VPN is turned on. This gives you additional protection against geo-location trackers.
# Avoid being monitored by WiFi hotspots
Most WiFi routers have the capability to analysing user traffic, for example, which site you are accessing right now, how many minutes you spend every day on a particular web service.
FreeVPN can not only encrypt your traffic, but also hide everything about your online activities as well.
# Get more contents
As you may know many services are only available to domestic users. Even though you are subscriber of such service, you will not be able to access those contents when you are abroad.
With FreeVPN, you can virtually come back, and thus get those contents without restriction.
Also you can get more contents hosting in foreign countries.

pop ups - this is for SapperToby. I also use Firefox, can you give some insight of how you got the pop ups to stop. I just started using this and it seems to be working pretty good. But your right, the pop ups just randomly come up. thanks
More Reviews for Current Version
Annoying Pop-Ups - I chose this app because it was from the same developer as HideMe Free VPN (which worked brilliantly until becoming completely unusable several months ago, always crashing when app opens). Anyway, I would have given this app 5 stars if not for its method of producing revenue (which is understandably a necessity): randomly opening new tabs in Firefox to advertise their other products. Honestly, it just may be one of the most annoying methods of revenue production I’ve yet to experience. Fortunately, through the use of a few ad/pop-up blocking Firefox Add Ons, it’s possible to mitigate the annoyance, though I haven’t figure out how to completely eliminate the pop-up tabs yet. Anyway, as far as the VPN performance is concerned, so far (I’ve only used it for a couple weeks) it seems to work quite well (besides the pop-ups), and I’ve yet to find another truly Free vpn app (besides HideMe Free VPN, which as I said, is currently broken) that offers unlimited use and multiple countries of origin to select from (instead of all the other VPN apps which label themselves “Free”, but only offer limited features (that nearly render the app useless), or imposes limits on either time of use or data transferred before an “In App Purchase” is required. Worth a try if you’re in the need for a free VPN, and can either tolerate pop-ups or are creative enough to “reduce” the annoyance.
