Description:

Take turns, upgrade your ship and trade as you sail through unknown waters where no ship has gone before. Compete with rival traders and battle mythical sea-monsters as you seek out and acquire navigational artifacts to reveal and defeat the legendary Kraken!

The successor to indie cult-hit Ancient Trader, Fortune Winds: Ancient Trader introduces all of the captivating gameplay and features of the original and embellishes the experience with improved AI, additional player avatars and save game functionality. On its original release in 2010, Ancient Trader received critical acclaim from several highly respected gaming publications including 8/10 from Eurogamer and 8/10 from EDGE Magazine.

• Turn-based gameplay. Exploration, daring quests, clever trading and fearsome nautical combat!

• Play together in "Hotseat: Player Vs Player" mode, 1-4 players take turns to rule the seas!

• 16th century art-style in the style of Abraham Ortelius, creator of the first modern atlas.

• Beware of mythical sea-monsters such as roaring crabs, starving leviathans and, last but not least the legendary Kraken!

Release Notes:

What a breeze! We've made a few deep-sea bug fixes and some surface improvements. In addition, the game now smells of salty sea, and has native 64-bit support too!

Cool Game - I like this game, its a turn based game sort of like a card game, but visually stimulating. Cool idea.

Horrible - I have an iMac with 2.93GHz INtel Core i7 and 12 GB of RAM and the ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024MB graphics card. This Game Continually freezes to the point where I can't even start a game. This is unnacceptable, especially at the price.
