FontsView is a simple text previewer with the font of your choice.  Sometimes, it's not very easy to pick the best font especially if you have hundreds of them to choose from.  FontsView will let you quickly preview text with a given font so that you can pick the best choice.  Choosing File > Export, you can generate an HTML file with lines of text with all available fonts along with a text color and text size of your choice.

System requirements: Mac OS X 10.6.6 ~ 10.6.8, 10.7.x, 10.8.x

Release Notes:

- Change: The application will automatically restart itself when the user closes Preferences to ensure its stability.
- Fix: When the user changed font sizes from the menu (Text Style > Text Size), the text size drop-down menu did not change its current index accordingly.
- Each font name is preceded by a blue bullet on the Favorite fonts window.
- A few other minor changes are made.

Simple, does what it says. - While the price leaves much to be desired (8.00 for a simple font viewer is too much) this program proves useful for viewing installed fonts. Some things I'd like to see in the future: 1. For fonts that are not "Normal" sized fonts, make it so you can see the entire sprite in the viewing window. To see what I mean look at the Action Men Font set at 120. 2. Make an option to view uninstalled fonts. I have approximately 12,000 uninstalled fonts that I would like to browse, however to view them with this program I'd have to install ALL of them making my system laggy, or one at a time to view… Possibly with this include the option to install/uninstall a font. 3. Make a favorites section for fonts that are commonly used/installed. Overall I'd say if you have money to spend and are looking for a INSTALLED font viewer, get this. Please consider the suggestions.
