Sturdy and reliable - I've been using this app for awhile now and it has proven to be the most reliable font manager I have. I have a lot of fonts which seems to cause problems for other font apps. This one runs smooth as silk and that's 5 stars in my book. Plus, I think it was the least expensive font app I ever purchased. Cheers to that!

Pointless - If you are looking for a way to organize your fonts, this is not it. Besides the "Font Color" gimmick, everything in Mac's default Font program, Font Book is easier to use. It does not appear this applications scans and finds newly-installed Fonts, and if you refresh your font database, all of your custom fonts get messed up. Organizing your Fonts is not easy. Let's say you have 1,000 Fonts to Organzie. You have to select the font, click a folder icon, then check the category, then check done. This is 4,000 clicks. God forbid you ever accidently click the reimport system fonts option; everything will be disogranized. Look, if you are designing a font organization program start with the features of Font Book and grow from there. When your app doesn't even perform as well as the system's default software, you are ripping people off.

Wait for version 3 - I purchased this app on impulse, and I have pretty mixed feelings about it. It has some unique features that work well (namely quick, automatic organization of your font library by weight and style—that actually works pretty well, and can help you find a font quickly), but the overall user experience is very frustrating. The UI is klunky and non-intuitive. There is very little support for universal keyboard shortcuts, for very basic things. Other features don't work at all (such as custom text preview). There are no application preferences for any kind of customization. Overall this feels like a 1.0 or beta release, without the polish and usability I expect from Mac apps. It's cheaper than other font management software, but I really don't think it's worth $15. $5, sure, for its working gimmicks. But there's little magic to this wizard.

Buyer Beware - No where in any of the documentation does it say that there is a limit to the number of fonts you can have in here. It will stop importing and give you the royal finger as you upload your fonts at 2405. When it hits that mark it will continue to look like it's importing but it isn't. The program works in the sense that you can turn fonts on and off easily, but I don't get the whole color coating thingy. So bottom line is that if you have under 2400 fonts and are color blind… this is the software for you.
