An easy to use interface:
Organize your cards in decks, folders and smart decks. When selecting a deck, its cards will be shown in a table. Each card has a progress indicator so that you see your overall performance at a glance.

Smart decks, LaTeX formulas and exporting to iPhoto
Smart decks allow you to specify a set of rules that determine which cards the deck will contain. For example, you could have a smart deck that always contains cards you recently studied and answered wrong.

Flashcards comes with a formula editor. The formula editor lets you create graphical formulas by typing in a LaTeX style text. For example, you can then drop the formula on any card. That’s the best way to learn formulas of nearly any complexity.

Do you own an iPod or an iPhone? Great! Flashcards lets you export decks as a series of images directly to iPhoto with just a few clicks. You can then use iTunes to sync them onto your iPod or iPhone and study on the go.

Does what it says. Does it well - Flashcards is an easy to use flash card study software. I looked at quite a few products before settling on this one. Most were bloated and down right confusing. This has all I have been looking for. Yet remains easy to use. Flashcards quizzes offer quite a few options. It keeps track of your progress. Best of all: it figures out if you got the answer right or not. Saving you the flipping of the card. (Obviously it looks for a pretty exact match between the correct answer and the one I keyed in. I may have thought of a different, yet correct answer. Then I flip the card, see the recommended answer and decide if I should consider mine correct or not.)

Not worth buying - Problems: •You can't Change the names of the folders or decks •Often times doesn't cache the contents on the back of the cards after you type them so it deletes everything and you have to re-type it. and hope it keeps it Positives: • the review style is okay (type in answers) This app has potential to be great but Currently isn't worth wasting your time/money on. developers need to do some sreious testing before releasing another version/update

Poor... - I initially favored this app over other flashcard apps until… Several crashes in the midst of making decks caused me to lose everything. An update deleted all my decks (To developer's credit, the problem was resolved…. eventually, unfortunately, it was right before a test) Mac and iPad versions do not sync and are in no way related. Not user friendly… You can only use two sides. You can't customize decks very easily. I contacted the developr to ask him about syncing between devices, but I did not receive a response. Consequentially, I have to give this app a poor review. Need I say more? Do yourself a favor and purchase iFlash which syncs between Mac, iPad and iPhone.

Much better programs available. - Importing isn't easy, and decks only give you two sides. I used this for half a semester and then switched to iFlash. Much happier with iFlash.
