Flashcard Hero - I tried the free version of this app before purchasing. I am always very reluctant when it comes to app purchases and have bought a very few select ones over the course of many years. This was one of those rare purchases because I felt it was well worth the $7.99 price tag. The author continues to put a lot of time and work into each new version to add many useful enhancements. I have been learning Spanish, using DuoLingo, for the past 240 days and have been putting Flashcard Hero to use in conjunction with it. The speech function of Flashcard Hero greatly aids me in remembering pronunciations. This is a very valuable tool for anyone needing access to review what they have learned. I can pull it up on my iPhone or iPad anytime, anywhere and solidify what I have previously studied. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a flashcard app!

This used to be good. - This app was the best for studying. There were so many different was to study. You could use the cards you made as flash cards or as multiple choice. The app has been crashing to the point where you cannot even type what you want on the cards. It will crash about every 60 seconds. This happened after the latest update. I do not recommend getting this until the issue is fixed, which will be a while because it has been happening for two weeks.

I like this app - I like this app, it has been helpful for me, and I find myself passing. I spend more on idex cards alone and hardly use them. Too much to carry sometimes. I hate when people are looking at me as well. It is noticable at work too even when you are trying to be discrete with what you are doing. I like this app for numerous reasons, its discrete and fun. If I am on the subway, I can play on my phone and no one is watching me. When I am at work, and have some time to myself, I use it or even in my down time, I pull it up and study. I am a visual learner, so I love the feature of having multiple questions on it. On the laptop, it has fill in features. I am actually passing my class with an A. I type real fast so I am able to put in what I think I need to know. You can put pictures in it as well. This is a great app. I know it isn’t free, however think about how much money you wasting on index cards, and some you will lose it. It gets messy in you bag or purse. This app, organizes everything to your liking and here is the best part, ready-it syncs from your laptop to you iphone, or to your iphone to your laptop :-) No complaints yet oh, and when you have an issue, you can email the developer and he will guide you or explain to you or whatever, it’s cool!

Great app for studying - I really love this app. It has helped me tremendously with my classes. It is very easy to use and gives you multiple ways to test yourself. Definitely worth paying for. The only thing I would like to see added to this program (unless it is already there and I just don’t know how to enable it yet) is the ability to set a default for the type of answers you are putting in to the program. (i.e. If I am adding many multiple choice questions, I would like the ability to set the default for the answers to the "bullet style" so that I would not have to select it each and every time I add a question. It would make entering test questions so much faster.) Other than that, it’s an amazing program. Kudos to the developer.

It Helps - I would rate this 5 stars if we had the ability to edit pictures on the flash cards. I have jpg. images from material and there’s no way to rotate the image to where it needs to be. Other than that, its a great app.
