Saved HOURS!!!! - I was nervous buying this app after the previous versions got poor reviews. Whatever they did in this version must have fixed all the bugs! The program QUICKLY found the metadata, and even better-it WROTE the data faster than my Mac would write when I tried inputting my data in manually. SO fast, and really accurate. The movies the program couldn’t initially find, (probably because my filenames were weird) I quickly was able to search, find, and insert. Drag directly from iTunes, applied info, then “get info” in iTunes to see the changes. TOTALLY worth the price for the time saved! Not one complaint. Now my movies look great on my Apple TV. One suggestion would be to be able to choose from a selection of artwork. Most looked great, but some I like different cover art.

Used to work…now only crashes - Like many others I used to scour the web downloading movie posters and manually adding them…I can’t tell you how much time thia app has saved me!!! As long as the filename adequately describes the file it works like a charm. Edit March 2016: This app used to work great, i havne’t been able to use it in months. It constantly crashes or hangs on movies…I stopped suing it for a few onths hoping it would magically start working again…or maybe the developer would step up and fix it...pretty worthelss at this point.

waste of $5 - might have worked as recently as May of 2015 if the reivews are to be believed. As of July of 2015, it doesn’t work as advertised, and the “about” and “support” pages are dead links. I wastes $5 on this. Don’t repeat my mistake.

Very Disappointing - While FilmTag is simple to use, it’s not very flexible. It offers no option to edit the tags; you either accept the tags that it finds or you’re out of luck. Worse still, it just crashes on very large files. A better choice is iVI, either the version here in the app store or the iVI Pro. It lets you modify the tags, plus it has many other features such as converting to formats that work well with your devices.

Does not work as advertised. - There are TONS of issues with this app and the dev is unresponsive. I emailed him about issues and have not heard back. It won’t tag screenwriter, like it advertises. It taggs artwork that is extremely low res. Lots of times when I add a movie to the queue itll give me an arbitrary error: "Movie Not Found”. I have to remove the movie then re-add, then maybe itll work (sometimes I have to do it multiple times.) There are loads of other bugs but you get the picture. Don’t bother wasting your money. MetaZ is free and it does a much better job.

Does not work with MacOS Sierra 10.12 - This used to work flawlessly. But with latest MacOS Sierra (10.12), it is broken and crashes every time. Please save your money.
