Farkle - This is one of the best games I play. My goal is to get a higher score, which is not easy, but it’s lots of fun trying. Highly recommended!!

Review by The nickname "Metalsmith" is taken, because it's MINE!

NO SUPPORT!!! - Both the offered support options do nothing but open advertising. Glitch #whatever: Four three's and two four's rolled. I select all six dice, indicating that I want to split the three's and get 750 for three pair. The game takes away all six dice, but only gives me the 600 for four three's. Either don't take the four's or credit me with the three pair, and [I] should be able to decide whether to take the 600 or the 750 option! ----- Just reread the rules. Four of a kind with a pair kicker is supposed to count 3,000 points! And, four of a kind is supposed to count 1,000 points. At least the game is consistent. ----- ----- Old five star review: ----- Basically a totally mindless waste of time—that is so addictive that I have been playing it for years. When you need to keep your forebrain busy so that your hindbrain can solve some problem, this is one of the perfect tools for that job! Side note for the developer(s). You don't post contact information so: "die" is singular, "dice" is plural, "dices" is a verb, never a noun! As in, "He dices for a living." i.e., It's just not a good word.

Walley - The game is fun, but not statistically random. The frequency with which you lose when there are two die left to roll is greater than what should occur in a random series of throws of two die. I have reached a score of 11,600 but you should be able to get a higher score with selected rolls of the two remaining die. It seems that the higher the score to be forfeited the higher the loss rate. This last part is only anecdotal evidence and is probably tainted by the emotional impact of losing a large bank.

Delightful Discovery - By chance I happened to click on Farkle after playing Free Cell. Much more entertaining, and I can see how it can become addictive. Playing alone or with my partner is loads of fun. So glad I came across this game on the one hand—on the other I can see I am going to get less of my daily tasks done on time. Oh well—that’s what retirement is all about! Love it.

Incorrect scoring - Two triplets should score 2500 according to the rules, but it adds it up as just two three of a kinds. They also need to make corrections for four of a kind, five of a kind, and six of a kind.

A Basic Game - It’s a good way to pass time. I have played a similar version of this game with real dice for years but, I think if I hadn’t, I woud be very confused by the rules. Mayby they could be accessed without having to leave the game. I’d like to make some additional recommendations to make this game a 5 star. 1. Put your high score where it can be seen as an incentive to get a higher score. 2. Make a two player version. 3. The difference between the “bank” and the dollar sign amounts took a bit to understand can this be shown differently? 4. One should not have to go back to the main menu to play again. It’s annoying. Can’t a person just click somewhere on the game screen? 5. Put the dollar sign and the Farkle cup in opposite corners to lessen the chance of mistakenly hitting the wrong one.
