Description:

Encryption Buddy encrypts and password protects your files - it can password protect ANY type of file - this means you can password protect your photos, images, PDF files, Documents, Excel files, Word Files, pictures, etc. The developers of Encryption Buddy have focused long and hard on creating a clean and easy user experience - simply drag and drop the file(s) you want to encrypt into the window, supply a password (and optional hint), and you're done! When you want to decrypt your files, the process is just as easy. Drag the files to decrypt into the decryption window. Enter the password, and the files will decrypt. You will need the Encryption Buddy app to decrypt the files.

By default, Encryption Buddy does not delete the original file (you can do that manually). If you want Encryption buddy to delete your original file after it is encrypted, just go to the preferences, and check the box that says, "Delete Original File After Encryption."

Great product that does what it say... - I have accumulated a few of the encryption apps but they are not that simple to work with and I have had some problems with them. I came across Encryption Buddy by a serindipitous search in my browser. I checked out the reviews and went to the developer's web site. I did download the trial available there and was quite impressed how simple it was to use. I had several question and asked them to the develpoer. I was interested in the ability to hhave the original file deleted once the encryption took place as well as any support for folder encryption. I was surprised to get an almost immediate response with a very detailed explaination of why the delete on encryption function was not available in the MAS version and that they would be adding the afolder encryption feature in a future version. Such quick response is always a good sign as is a no excuse explaination of the limitations of the app. I can recommend this app without qualification. It simply does what it is supposed to do and it just works

encrption buddy doesnt work - it seems to encrypt the files but doesn't decrypt them and it leaves the uncrypted file sitting next to the supposedly encrypted file. complete waste of time and money.
