"With an incredible feature set, active development, and a sustainable business model, Droplr is our favorite way to share files, make simple annotations, and track links." - The Sweet Setup

How it Works

With Droplr, sharing files is super simple. Just drag a file into the Droplr icon in your menu bar. Your file will be uploaded to your personal Droplr account in the cloud and a link to it will be copied to your clipboard. Paste the link anywhere to share. Manage all of your files online through the Droplr Dashboard or with your iOS device using Droplr Mobile.

Files shared with Droplr Free will self destruct (be deleted) 24 hours after they're uploaded. Droplr Pro users get to keep their files forever, can customize download pages, and much more. Droplr Pro memberships are available via an in-app purchase.

"The Droplr web app is both beautiful and more functional than any other file sharing app I’ve ever used." - AppStorm

The best quick sharing application - Droplr is the best at sharing any type of content. Be it links, images, files, music, videos, anything you can think of. My favorite is the integration with multiple applications like chrome and photoshop which make sharing links and images very quick. I have droplr pro and highly recommend it to everyone.

First drop is a crash... - Downloaded the app, registered, went to iPhoto, select a picture, upload to droplr… Crash of Droplr. Try again, same effect. Removed all traces of the app on my system. This tool is NOT ready yet. I can't believe it's in the featured app section. Good idea, poor implementation. Avoid.

Great app, but ANNOYING startup behavior! - I love all the features of Droplr, but recently the app has started to display a “Welcome to Droplr” popup in the menubar every time it starts up, and you have to click on it to dismiss it. This is incredibly, insanely annoying! I can understand displaying this popup the first time it runs after initial installation, but as someone who has used Droplr every day for at least the last 5 years, I dont need to be constantly reminded of its existence in my menubar. I am giving this otherwise 5-star app a 1-star rating because of this, and because there is no preference to disable it.
