Dream Chronicles - This game is an enjoyable adventure. The puzzles are fun. The graphics are beautiful. It may be too short if you have no life and spend 5 or 6 hours on a game at a sitting..... then you may be dissapointed. It is not a SHOOT'M'UP... and it is not all HIDDEN OBJECTS.. HOORAY!!!!!!.Some people find these types of games interesting. Dream Chronicles is an adventure game and a very good one.

Not so great. - This game has a great plot but the gameplay itself is pretty universally annoying. The puzzles are interesting enough but it's impossible to solve them because you can't *see* anything on the screen. I think this one really misses the point of hidden objects. Most of the time you don't know what you're looking for, so you're just searching the screen for anything that looks like it might not belong there. Also, the way the game makes the objects hidden, a lot of the time, is by just making them really really really small. So basically you're looking for a tiny black speck, often on a nearly black and not particularly high-res screen image. I had to turn the brightness on my screen all the way up and hold my laptop in midair an inch away from my face to be able to see anything. And the rest of the time, I just gave up and googled the locations of the objects. Oh yeah, and there's no hint function. I also hated that every time you leave the game it starts you over from the beginning of the chapter instead of saving your progress within the current section. How does that even make sense?? I actually played about a third of this game and then realized I'd played it before, a long long time ago (years ago). I also remembered that I never finished it before, and now I remember why! I did finish it this time - took about 5 hours - but I can't say I'm really happy I paid money for this game.

Really Annoying - Was this game designed for 12-year-old girls? It's too easy, and any time you click on the one of a dozen or so stupid gems in each scene, you get this long-winded explanation about how that particular gem was forged in the land of the unicorns by the rainbow fairy of who-gives-a-...., which requires multiple clicks to dismiss. Every. Single. Time. There are no options to, say, turn off the constant stating of the obvious ("I picked up a hammer."), the inane non-sequiturs ("My husband hates this vase, I don't know why.") or the aforementioned gemology (OMG, please SHUT UP!). If you don't click on anything for 2 seconds, the stuff you are supposed to click on starts sparkling, so there's no challenge. I'd be fine with all this if there were a way to select a more difficult mode and just have hints as necessary to find the objects that are invisible to the naked eye (as mentioned by previous reviewers, some of the objects are literally impossible to see, even after being alerted to their presence by sparkles). After approximately 30 minutes, I quit. It's just too irritating.

Too short and can - This is SO short i beat it in about 2 hours. You can't see where anything is so you are blindly clicking around. I think i could have beat it in 1/2 an hour if it was not during the day. Don't waste your money!!
