Major bug! - UPDATED REVIEW: November 16, 2012 If I could give ZERO STARS I would. Do not buy this app. All attempts to contact the developer have failed. It contains a major bug that renders it useless. The "Walrus Apps" website directs you to localhost (i.e., it does not exist), and the support website takes you to a placeholder/landing page with no links or information… just a big logo. Apple failed to vet this developer, and he's taking money from people and has provided no way for customers to reach him for support or anything. Obviously 3 dollars is no big deal (not even worth my time to write these reviews)… but I'd like the app to at least work–– and do what it says it can do. UPDATED REVIEW: November 7, 2012 The bug is still not fixed: This app is still lowering the color bit depth of my display when I use it to change the resolution. You can see banding in the drop shadows, and gradients look really funky, at any dimension. When I quit everything else looks fine. ORIGINAL REVIEW: October 18, 2012 No matter what I do, if I use Display Mode to set my screen size, it lowers the bit depth to something terrible. You can see banding in the drop shadows at any screen dimension. When I quit it, everything looks fine…

Banding - Like others have said, zero support and shadow banding on windows. It's livable but annoying.

Better - I really like that it honors the Retina-friendly settings from the System Preferences menu. But, it over-rides/disables the System Preferences srettings when it is active and it does not correctly render the active window shadow (significant banding).

Won’t drive LG 29” ulrawide 21:9 monitor on MacBook Pro 17” early 2011 - Won’t drive LG 29” ulrawide 21:9 monitor on MacBook Pro 17” early 2011 Title says it all. Needs a disclaimer in the description, and/or list of system info to drive big monitors. Wish I could get a refund.
