Poorly Crafted - Yes, it identifies files that can, in all likelihood, be safely deleted. I cannot help but think that the application developers placed a great deal of importance on marketing because one cannot perform many tasks without being nagged. For examply, during my first use, the app literally badgered me to rate the app’s performance. The app displays the amount of data that was recovered, but right below it, the annoying prompt for a rating appears and the application cannot be used for any further recovery. I suspect that one must first quit the application and the re-launch it. Don’t waste your time on this app.
Ok, but falls in category of expensive “advertising/beg/annoy” ware - First— expensive for what it does. Second— there are at least three times on the first run (two pop ups and one more button) where ads for other apps are presented (these you can turn off the NEXT time you launch… not the first time), and then begging for you to give it a review. So here is my review— stop charging us money to advertise to us, stopy annoying us, and don’t charge so much for something so simple and with so few features. There are other apps that can do what this one does for free. UPDATE Third, it asks you if you want to rate it no the Mac App Store, but then gives its own dialog box, and doesn’t take you to the Mac App store to rate it! (Are these developers honest?)

Simply OK, should be a free app - I have around 170GB of storage being used I’m completely unsure what it is since mainly only use spreadsheets and word on this MAC for my computer, therefore I downloaded this application to help me clear some of that up. However, this application only helped me remove about 6.56GB of the 170 which It couldn’t even help tell me what the other storage was being used for. Not impressed by any means and upset I paid $2.99 to get ride of my downloads I could have did myself.
Workes quickly and efficiently - A somewhat useful deleting caches from browsing and log entries that build up over time. My first attempt was 6GB of garbage, it was a snap, one click scan, thus allowing me to bypass my passwords in the Browser Dater section. I clicked on Trash,Logs, Application leftovers as well. This app gives me the option to select my preferences. My only hope for a future update is to add external drives to be cleaned with similar selectives.
It works flawlessly to rid my computer of cached files. - I have has this app on my computer from the first day that I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I also have Onyx on my system, but I enjoy the simple interface to rid my computer of bloated caches, and trash. I will always install this on all new computers from this point forward. Kudos Rocky Sand Studios on a lean, clean diagnostic app!
Not worth paying for - If you’re actually trying to figure out what is taking up space on your computer, this is not the app to get. I’ve been running out of space frequently lately, and from this I can tell you it’s not because of the caches (which I already knew), logs (not a surprise), or mail downloads, or any of the other trivial things that Disk Diag was kind enough to point out to me. I used it to delete one movie, I still don’t know what is taking up 80% of my hard drive. Don’t bother paying for it unless you’re terribly worried about your caches and don’t know how to google where to find them.
