Diary as a replacement for MacJournal - The early versions of MacJournal were easy to use, simple and initially free but, alas, not compatible with Lion. When MacJournal went to a $35 upgrade that had far too many features I looked around and found Diary. Diary's not free but it is simple and easy to use. I recommend it.
help - I need help I just got this app instanlty set a password remembering exactly what it was and as I turn around to log in it keeps saying wrong password. I feel like my moneys been wasted can anyone help?

So simple it's missing some important items.. - …such as the ability to just look at a journal entry and see the phots and uploaded video. I originally had an app on my ipad that was a journal app - it allowed me to add photos directly into my entry and gave me a choice of backgrounds/colors for the interface. This app has neither of those "dressing up" items. It's simple and white and I might as well just being typing a text document. It really annoys me that I can't view the photos in the jounrla entry - they only show up separately as attachments - this seemed so wrong to me that I must have spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to view them in the journal entry itself - until I realized that you can't at all! I'm writing this review as I'm back on the app store looking (a little more carefully this time) for a journal application that will also allow me to create more of a scrapbook - lots of writing, but also photos and backgrounds that make the entires look nice, in case I ever want to print them out for hard copies or put them in a book of some sort for my kids some day. I don't mind spending a little more for a program that does everything I want. This one is nice enough, but just very barebones.
So so - Somewhat decent. Only bought this to see which photo diary was better and I can assure you, Day One is far superior in every aspect.
iPad or iPhone??? - Any plans for an iPad or iPhone version that could sync with my Mac at home???? Till then only 4 stars. Otherwise I love it.
confused… - How in the heck do i decorate it.. the example one has a bunch of prety stuff on it.. mine is just plain !
This is a great app…would be even more awesome if it was on iPad - I really do not have anything to complain about with this app. It is simple, and easy to use. It does exactly what I want it to do. I write in this journal about everyday. It would be awesome if this would come out on the iPad so that it could be more portable! I don’t always have my macbook on me, but I more than likely have my ipad on me. Just a thought!
