Great for old geeks! - I think it's been 20 years since I last sat and watched the Game of Life churn away. This really takes me back -- good times! Starter Tips for those who have never seen this before: First, go read up on Wikipedia -- this thing has history! Next, the default settings here are a bit chaotic, so I suggest you change them. Try increasing the cell size ( I like max), slow the default generations a bit (try .5 seconds), and change the 'Mins to reset' from 1 to Never (or at least higher than 1) -- then sit back and watch as little cellular creatures form, move about, and consume one another in their algorithmic quest for dominance.

Definitely worth 99 cents. - Nice and simple design. In Lion it works on every desktop. Runs smoothly on my Mac Mini and doesn't seem to interfere too much with other processes. An update I'd like to see is a way to use the mouse to enable/disable a clicked cell.
Annoying - I found this to be more annoying than anything else - I deleted it after about two minutes of running it.
