Great game and worth every cent. - Works flawlessly on my standard 2011 Macbook Pro, never any lag, and rapid load times. The game has beautiful graphics with an incredibly imaginative world, hilarious dialogue and stories, interesting "quests" and great sound. The game is very enjoyable to play. If you played the first "DeathSpank" and liked it, you will love this one, I think it's better in many ways. The third game "The Baconing" I was actually a little dissapointed with, so if you played that and didn't enjoy it you should still give this one a try. I look forward to a possible fourth installment that is a return to form.

Wasted Money on all three versions - none work on Mac Book Pro Retina - Game starts and all I see is what looks like a small corner of the screen. No way to change the graphics. Plays a song. Sort of looks like a road scolling by, but the only thing I can do is Command-Q to quit. Waste of money since it is unplayable. The app store support link takes me to a web site that shows a bunch of games that are no deathspank. I don't see any way to get support on that site too. Maybe one day they will support my computer…

Been holding on playing The Baconing waiting for TOV. Wait no more! - I see what you did there, Hothead Games. You enticed me with the insanely fun first game, then released the incredible third game and made wait with bated breath for the release of the critically acclaimed missing second game here on the Mac App Store. Well played.

Could of, Should have been 5 stars - At the beginning I loved this game, I really got into it UNTIL the game required me to use items from my inventory, all went down hill from there. I have a smart mouse and have right click which works for EVERYTHING else, but can not get the inventory items to be used not even with command click. So after a few very fun hours I turned the game off. I even went as far as to buy (stupid me) the first game - Deathspank ( I thought I might be missing something taught in the first game) , and again after a few hours found that I am unable to use items in my inventory (the empty bucket, monster food, etc) So after buying 2 games and wasting a few hours I am sad to say I can't play this game. The graphics are great, the story line is awesome but if I am stuck and unable to controle things properly there is no purpose of wasting more time. Could have been 5 stars.

Bazookas - The middle of the trilogy does not disappoint. There were a lot of things to do and a lot of places to explore. There were a lot of interesting quests and a lot of laughs to be had. I loved getting the bazookas because there are MORE pips (or giants) in this one, and the pips were one of my big irritations with the first game. Bazookas basically take that problem away. You can also level to 21, which also helps. I think they worked on the leveling in this game, and mobs scale much better. They also give you a lot of different guns to use, which are interesting to deal with. I only had two issues while playing. When you scoll over the map to find where the questgivers are located, the names will often be the wrong character. This happened in the first game as well, and could just be lag or something. It didn't happen all the time. There was also a glitch where, every now and then, when you opened the map, the game would turn off. This happened to me a couple of times. Otherwise, it's fun and worth the time, and not all that easy to win.

Do not buy this game if you have something you need to do. - Very good game, with plenty of witty comments and dialogue and constant action. Great cartoon like graphics…. But be forewarned, once you buy it, you will be stuck playing it to the end, no matter what else needs to be done in your life. Alot of game for the money…..

Not that great... - I'm not impressed with this game, at all. It sounded and looked awesome, but I am really let down by my purchase. All the hype and great reviews had me excited but it's really just repetitive and pretty stupid. It is very funny, but the story line isn't that great and the missions are just annoying. Basically it's a good game, but there isn't enough DIFFERENT things to keep me playing.
