Deadly Puzzles: Toymaker is an adventure game that blends together elements of both psychological and crime thrillers, aimed at fans of hidden object games.
A quiet town is shaken by a series of murders. The victims are all young women and the killer remains at large. The local media nicknames the murderer the “Toymaker”, in reference to his grim calling card: the bizarre toys he leaves at the scene of the crime.
The detective in charge of the investigation feels increasingly hopeless as her chances of capturing the madman slip away with each passing minute.
A breakthrough arrives in the form of a video tape sent by the killer, pulling the heroine into his dangerous game.
Will she succeed in determining the identity of the Toymaker and preventing another murder, before it’s too late?

Most Helpful Reviews
Graphics and storyline are poor quality - Compared with the other games offered by Artifex Mundi this one is very sub-standard. Deadly Puzzles seems suited for a pre-teen with little to no experience in hidden object puzzles and mini games. The storyline is simplistic, but the graphics lack depth and seem washed-out.

Not up to standards - This game is very simplistic and linear. It is only a puzzle search. Good for a pre-teen perhaps.
Good hidden object game, pretty basic though overall - The current games for Artifex Mundi are much more advanced than this one, but the basic hidden object strategy with an over arcing storyline was good. I will say that the ending was very boring and incredibly predictable….I was expecting some sort of twist or cliche “I’ll be back”, but was strangely disappointed when there wasn’t one. :( The art is very well done! The hidden object scenes aren’t obvious to spot, but it gets a little repetitive with going back on the same scenes to search for more “clues”. Overall, I gave it a 3 because I’ve been spoiled by their new games and expected a little more from this one! :) I got it on sale though, so I’m very content with my money spent. :)
toymaker game - This is the most boting game I have ever played
First Hidden Object Puzzle - Makes a nice first hidden object puzzle for those with no experience in hunting objects in a scene. I would recommend it for those under age 12 as it teaches coordination, basic search, thinking, and recognition patterns. The story of the dectective’s hunt is simple and the mini-games are very easy to work through the patterns.
