Have you ever been confused by your day planner? Do you think and plan visually? We created DayMap because we believe visual people deserve an organizer tailored to their strengths.
DayMap is a visual planning app which helps you plan your days and weeks for optimum productivity. The project outliner places your projects side by side in columns so that you can see more information with less scrolling.
The calendar located below the project outliner makes it easy to schedule important todo’s.
- Sync your DayMap data between your Mac and iPhone (or any iOS Device) thanks to integrated iCloud sync support! (Requires iOS 8 or later and Mac OS X Yosemite or later)
- System-wide keyboard shortcut to quickly add new tasks to inbox without having to switch apps.
- Create deep hierarchies of tasks with subtasks.
- View all your projects and tasks at a glance.
DayMap helps you make the most of every day, every week.
We are interested in hearing what you think, so share your feedback with us on our website.
- If you like DayMap, please take the time to give us a nice review. We really appreciate it. -

LOVE this app! - I've been looking for a long time for something to replace the Palm Desktop task/calendar program and this comes the closest yet. I am a visual learner, so the format works much better for me than the others that look too much like email programs. Also, I got a VERY quick response from the developer about a question I had, which is always a good thing. I understand that an update will be out shortly that has the feature I need - recurring tasks. Can't wait - this will make a great app even better. I've used this for just a few days now and LOVE the ease, simplicity and intuitive design - very easy to ramp up quickly. I've watched the demo video 3 times now so I am pretty well up to speed on all the finer points. Just bought the app for my iPhone so that I can add tasks when I am on the go and they sync over iCloud - I can sort and schedule my tasks once I get home, but now I have a way to instantly capture a task/idea/reminder when I am away from my desk. I am starting my own business and am also a free-lance workshop facilitator and trainer. To say that I have a lot to track is an understatement, and I can already tell this app is the tool to help me get and keep all the details under control.
Not ready for grown-ups... - Figured since your app was recently updated, it wasn’t beta. Plus it’s 2.1.0. Yikes, was I fooled. Not ready for grown-ups: 1. Can’t create multiday tasks. That’s rock bottom basic. 2. It does not sync to iCloud. Have uninstalled, reinstalled several times from both Macs to try. Nope. 3. So can’t use between two Macs without re-entering data. (Really?) 4. It asks whether you want to “merge” data when you try iCloud sync. Then end up with garbage demo data infesting your own work. 5. Or select “overwrite”, get the message it can’t do that. Then de-selects the “Use iCloud” automatically. 6. Then open DM on the other Mac, the one with your data, it’s gone. Gone. 7. It does not sync with Apple Calendar. Select that and the app stares back uselessly. 8. No iPad. No Dropbox. No Evernote. To be fair, that was clear upfront. 9. It’s not a $10 app. It’s a 99-cent app, at best. Wish I’d saved the 10-spot to spend on the bottle of wine that I will need after wasting time on your amateur app.

This is my dream productivity app. - This may be my holy grail of productivity apps. If I knew how to program, I would have made something similar to this, after years of frustration trying to find an app 1) with subtasks 2) a calendar and 3) the ability to schedule tasks. PROS: - good for visual people who’ve always wanted a Trello-ish GUI where you can move things easily around - slick interface. I appreciate the attention to detail and the mindset of the developer to clean, unobtrusive design. Love how this app lets you minimize projects so you don’t have to stare at the millions of other things you need to do. That was a clever touch. - love the split pane view. The developer understands the needs of those who like to see what’s ahead each week and month. CONS: - This is so minor, but maybe for the future, the ability to scroll the week view back and forth so it wasn’t permanently set from Sunday through Saturday as the default setting. - EDIT after using this for a while now: a three day (or a single day) view in addition to the month/weekly view so we can better see the tasks for the day ahead in a larger pane - An option to show checkboxes in the project view window, not just the calendar view. Overall, a beautiful, intuitive, and clever app. BRAVO. Developer answered my prayers! THANK YOU!
Simple but effective - I’ve used every task management app out there—just about. This one strikes a nice balance. I’m able to get my work done and spend less time fiddling with the software itself (tagging, creating filters, etc.).
works great! - My favorite thing about DayMap is that I can set up lists of events or appointments even if they are spread out over long periods of time. These can be grouped together according to whatever categories you want. Of course you also get a calendar view (by week or month) as you’d expect. It works great for my purposes.
DayMap is the perfect simple solution for managing tasks - I use this app daily to manage my personal life tasks. It works and is simple to use. I keep discovering productivity features that make this my favorite Mac app. Kudos to the developer.
Want to like - Unfortunately there’s no option to select which calendars to display. Since I have and need to retain access to my work team’s calendars, DayMap is unusable without an option to deselect calendars. It’s shows all events from all calendars. Very creative presentation of information, though. I’d like to revisit in the future if it gets an update.
