love the lights…. - call me old school, but I do love to get the feedback from the system telling me when it is busy doing stuff instead of just spinning its wheel doing nothing. Like when it is hung-up. the new stats pull down is great. It is like using a simplified version of Activity Monitor. Great job.

Great start, needs refinement - My only issue is: 1) It will only monitor one drive 2) I currently have 3 drives connected to my MBP and I have no idea which one it’s monitoring. One would assume it’s the internal SSD drive, but currently that’s not even mounted, because I’m booted from an external Recovery Drive. I was hoping to use this app to determine whether or not the Disk Utility was actively working on burning a new partition, or simply hung up. Unfortunately, since I can’t determine which drive this app is monitoring, I can’t make that call with it. However - the price is right for the app and I appreciate the various levels of customizations for the labels and lights. Worth the download. Check out ‘Disk LED’ if you want the ability to use status lights for more than one drive/partition. It’s currently priced at 3.99, it’s a different level of product. But for power-users this may be a better fit.
