Brings back memories - I just recently purchased a Macbook Pro and knew that I was going to be playing games on it. One of the first games that came to mind was Doom 3. The last time I played Doom 3 was on an old PC computer many years ago at the lowest graphics settings, it was fun, but the graphics were terrible because my computer at the time could barely handle it. I saw Doom 3 in the App Store for $9.99 and knew I had to have it, not expecting to get ultra high graphics settings, but still had to be better than the lowest settings. To my surprise, I am able to run Doom 3 flawlessly at the highest graphics settings, on my Macbook Pro 13in i5 Intel 4000, without any loss of performance. …and they say Mac's can't game ;)

Crashes - I have yosemite version 10.10 on a macbook pro early 2011. I meet all the graphics requirements as checked on gameagent but it crashes after the the developers intro. I think it is because it wont run on the new yosemite. I hope this is fixed very soon. I was anxious about downloading yosemite from the start for a lot of reasons and so far have been upset at almost every turn. DO NOT BUY IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE YOSEMITE.
