Great Stock Footage of DC - Doing production in Washingtion, we know how expensive it is to get high quality HD wide angle shots of the city. This is an outstanding collection of clips -- and at the price - maybe the best bargain in stock footage anywhere. Highly recommend if your library needs virtually every usuable shot of Washington DC -

Mediocre at best - This collection is in fact easy to use, and cheap for what it promises. The quality of the video is what one would expect from a dSLR, and that is fine. It seems to not be color corrected, which isn't an issue. What strikes me, however, is that there is a lot of handheld footage clearly shot with no stabilization, and even many of the tripod shots have shake in them. In fact, most of the clips in this collection despite being fairly well framed and adequately lit, would make a project of reasonable quality seem cheaper. They certainly are not of a quality I would be willing to put into any of my projects. There are moments that could be pulled from some clips that would look fine, but you would have to search for them, and they certainly wouldn't provide the coverage that the whole package intends to. I suppose what it comes down to is this: given the opportunity, I would pay someone with a 5d $300 to shoot the shots I needed over the course of an evening. If you don't have that $300, and want to spend some time digging for something that might be there, or go with some shaky footage, this collection might be good enough. Full discretion: I was offered (and received) a free copy of the software in return for my review.
