===CrazyTalk7 has been selected as "Mac App Store BEST of 2012!"===

"The app is incredibly easy to use and comes with an array of different talking heads and voices to choose from if you don’t want to use your own. “- Cult of Mac

CrazyTalk7 is the most popular facial animation tool that uses sound and text to vividly animate facial images. With the groundbreaking Auto Motion technology, you just need to import images, specify the facial feature points and record your own voice to automatically generate lip-syncs to create 3D life-like, talking videos.

On top of all the revolutionary features from the Standard edition, CrazyTalk7 PRO provides you with full control over every detail, including advanced auto animation functions and key editing for your clips. Take a look below to see what CrazyTalk7 has for you, and the special features included in the PRO edition to cater to your professional needs.

See demo video:

= Import Multi-Audio & Apply Different Auto Motions
In CrazyTalk7 PRO version, you can import multi-audio and assign a specific auto motion to each audio track in order to produce a variety of unique expressions to go along with your dramatic storyline. On top of that, this new feature helps you automatically fill in the animation gaps, and you can custom all kinds of idle motions when your character is otherwise inactive for a more natural and life-like performance.

= New PRO-Level Auto Motion Templates
In addition to the intuitive auto-motion templates included in the Standard edition, the PRO edition includes 60 more exclusive templates, indicated by a black mark in the lower-left corner. These templates contain the advanced PRO features such as muscle-level control, time offset, ping-pong, advanced springs, and full eye movement control. On top of all that, the augmented Dance scenario can be easily applied to your characters to give them superstar dance moves!

= Custom Design Auto Animation Templates
CrazyTalk7 PRO provides you with complete control over your actor purely by using an audio source as a starting point. You can then add more animation detail to the body, head, and even down to facial muscle detail. You can freely design your own custom auto motion templates to best fit your specific demands as well. Features such as Time Offset, Advanced Springs, Motion Curve and Ping-Pong effect set you apart from users of other tools. Feel free to take advantage of the Blend Motion function as well to add more subtle details to your final animation.

= The muscle-based auto motion control helps you animate any selected facial part. Use the time offset function to create the classical anticipation and follow-through responses that all professional cartoon animators live on. You have not only the option for unpredictable random directional movement, but you can actually assign a ping-pong setting to your actor to get it to move from side to side sequentially.

= Advanced Key Editing
Not a big fan for default motion clips? You are now able to expand motion clips into different tracks, and start your key editing with your own style. Track options now include: Head, Face, Eye, and Shoulder which allow you to create more detailed custom key frames to generate intricate motions for your characters. Moreover, you are now able to copy custom auto motion results to the motion track for further editing.

For each animation, you have the choice of a wide variety of different motion editing methods: the Template helps you to create vivid expression in just seconds, Facial Expression lets you define different parts of the muscle to animate, and the Modify panel helps you puppet further facial details all on your own.

What A Fun App! - Sometimes, making a good app is like a recipe, and this one adds so many of the right ingredients. Using it is pure fun, thanks to animation skill levels that allow you to select between simple and complex for good animation detail, various ways to input sound including Text-To-Speech, and even very realistic teeth models that can be adjusted any number of ways to fit characters, so it doesn't look odd when they're talking. This app doesn't pretend to be more than cute, but I do believe that properly adjusted animations can yield results that are very close to realistic. I've given this app five stars, because it's so cool to use, but I do have a wish list, and there are some features that could still use a little fine tuning. Not every image works well with animation. Characters looking directly into the camera work best. If a head is at an angle, or looking up into the camera, the results can be more mutant than lifelike. But with the right characters, the results are strikingly good. I also really like the included Text-To-Speech engine, but the included United States voices do need work. Even with careful text entry, the characters sound like they're speaking with an accent, that sounds sort of like a cross between French and Czechoslovakian. Additional voice packs are available for Windows users, but sadly none for the Mac. That needs to be fixed. Yes there is room for improvement, but it's a brand new app with really cool potential, and it's already a blast to use as it is, so five stars.

Version 7 is not the current version!! - It turns out that the current version from the CrazyTalk web site is 8 - so I bought this version 7 from the Apple App Store, and it’s not even the current version. Supposedly there is some bonus content that you get for registering the product. But if you buy from the Apple App Store, you are not issued a serial number, so you can’t register the product, so you can’t get the bonus content. I contected their support people, and was sent some instructions about how to log onto their web site for users. But I ran into the same problem - I don’t have a registered product, so the link I was told to click on to get the bonus content isn’t shown, and so I still don’t have the bonus content. The sofware itself seems to work just fine and for the most part is pretty intuitive. However, if you do click on the help link, it sends you to the version 8 help page. You can search the CrazyTalk web site for version 7 help, and download the pdf with version 7 help… but I wish I had version 8 software instead!
