Great App, Must have for all Developers! - Don't let the name deceive you! This is an app with tons of uses for Developers. With every iteration, this app keeps getting better and better. I highly recommend for small Developer companies as a quick, easy, single-point bug tracking and "wish list" app for your development tasks. The ability to set pre-defined text templates works well and makes bug reporting consistant and easy to use. The interface in the latest versions has become highly customizable and flexible so that the app can be fine tuned to adopt well into your workflow. The Developer is committed to updates/fixes often and is professional. I was actually thinking of writing a similar app to this when I came across it in the App Store and I am glad I found it. It works great, saves time, easy to use, because you can drag images, screen captures, etc. into the descripton field, it really can be so many more things. I keep a project, that is really just all the new iOS 5 snippets I get on the web. Each item in the project is something I thought would be interesting or needed as I re-wrote our oldest app completely in iOS 5, using ARC, etc. For example, I had completely forgotten that the UIAlertView now can have a built in input text field, built right into iOS. Completely forgot. Two days ago, went to that project, reviewed some notes and voila', there was the screen shot and instructions for the new alert style that I had taken a screen shot of and stored a few months ago. Fantastic! After purchase, take a few minutes to go throught all the app preferences. They can really make a difference in how you use customize to fit in well with your existing workflow. At this point, I can't imagine Developing with this app running alongside XCode on my screen daily. Don't think twice about it and purchase it, it is a wonderful tool.

Great app for indie developers - This is a great bug tracking for indie developers. Its exactly what I’ve been looking for. While this is a great app, its not perfect. There are a couple of things that I think could use improvement, and they both center around the bug status: 1) The color square for showing the bug status is pretty much useless if you are color blind like me. I cant tell if a bug is open or closed at a glance. Maybe using some sort of graphic that has different shape and color, rather than just a different color would be very helpfull here. 2) Having greater granularity for the bug status would be very helpful. Here are some suggestions: ready for QA, fix rejected, need more info. If you were to fix this two issues, I would totally change my rating to 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, if you were to come up with an iOS version of this app that could sync over iCloud with this app, I would buy it in a heartbeat!!!!!!
Acceptible, but somewhat limiting - CrashSight does an acceptible job of tracking issues. I really appreciate the open-format of the issue form that allows you to enter text, pictures, etc. into the report. I was frustrated at my inability to delete (or at least hide) some of the built-in filters when customizing the application. Also, being color-blind, I have difficulty seeing at first-glance if an issue is open or solved. Some customization around the color of the status indicators would be a great plus.
Definitely a nice app - Like a lot of people, I was looking for something for home use that wasn’t web based or designed for more than one user. Many of the other applications I tried either had strange interfaces or were localized web based and I did not want to have to install php and mySql for something so simple. The one thing I’d like to see is the ability to turn columns on and off in the view. If it’s there, I could not find it, and I spent some time looking for it. Other than that, no complaints!
Great little app - Great little app to keep track of bugs I find on my apps. Better UI enhancements like being able to sort in the project lists would be a fantastic addition. For instance, I have an project I always work on and having that at the top of the list would be much easier than it being forced to the bottom of the list.
Exactly what I Needed - First off, let me be clear - this is not a solution for team based development. It is designed for solo developers. One developer, keeping track of issues locally on their own machine. Obviously this is a major limitation, but if you are a solo developer like me, then this is a robust and cost effective solution. I have been using it for a couple of years now on numerous projects and it has never let me down. It dawned on me just a moment ago that I have been thrashing this thing for ages and never had a problem with it, so figured I should throw some good vibes the developer’s way with a good review. Nice work and thanks!
