Great App - This is a fantastic little console calculator. It is unexpectedly flexable, and great for my quick electrical engineering calculator needs. It has a fair amount of preferences for how it displays results, and the interface is really slick. Anyone who does commandline work regularly will feel right at home. There is a small optional demo when you first launch the app that does a great job showing you how to use all the features. There are easy dropdowns to remind you of the function names for the advanced math functions. I recommend this app for anyone looking for a console calculator.
good idea but - if i change to binary, enter 11101^1110 it crashes when I hit that last zero every time. A lot of other calculations crash it too.

The first practical calculator app - The description says it all: this app ditches the useless hand calculator metaphor for a “console” interface. Simply put: you just type your input and hit the return key for the answer; all of your previous calculations are preserved, on screen; and you can assign values to ‘variables’, which makes reusing the results of your calculations simple. It’s a brilliant app, if only because this approach seems obvious in hindsight.
Fast and Functional - I am suprised this is not more popular. It is much more efficient than the standard rectangle calculator mockup.
Simple & Effective - This was exactly the kind of simple, efficient, console calculator I was looking for. Great that it handles copy/paste, you can set custom variables, history, and so on. Charming tutorial. No unnecessary visuals, effects, etc. Just there when you need it — straight and to the point.
