Just to set the record straight... - I noticed this app had a lot of hate and I just wanted to set the record straight about it... If you have in the past or are currently wearing diapers, you can successfully use this app. It's by far the easiest thing I've ever tried to connect to the Xbox, easier than a wireless controller hookup even. I would recommed that everyone become familiar with the port forwarding/port triggering process, not that it has anything to do with making this app work but it will improve your connection and it will also teach you how to setup a static IP Addres! (You'll need that static IP for this to work) Just google "Port Forwarding Settings for Xbox 360" and follow the instructions on MS's site.

For shame, NullRiver, for shame. - This app provides no ability to prevent the "Connect360 Helper" from starting up every time I turn on my MacBook Pro. I have a laptop, I have no need to serve up videos to my Xbox when I'm in a completely different country, thousands of miles away from my Xbox! I don't need yet another process sitting in the background using up resources, when I should be able to tell Connect360 that I only want the Helper process to run when the App is running, and to not start itself every time I turn on my computer. I tried manually removing the process from the list of processes that begin at startup, and Connect360 Helper does in fact stay closed upon restart…. that is until I use the App again and again it adds itself to the list of startup processes. I just want to be able to select an option that only runs the Helper or any other background process when I am running the App itself, and thats it. I don't want it running in the background when I have no intention to use the app. My laptop is not a dedicated media server, I have no need to have my media served up for my Xbox 24/7, I have more important things to put my system resources toward. I have sent support emails to NullRiver TWICE, and have recieved no response! So I gave this app one star, because of poor customizeability for those of us without dedicated media servers, and even poorer customer service. For shame NullRiver, for shame.

poor product - barely works, cant get it to connect and when it does only plays for a short period with code: 53-COODF238 showing. Support takes awhile to help fix the problem, still havent gotten a response back. If product would work it would be a great one.

Poor Product ****Revised***** - OLD Post - Product does not work as defined. I have tried with 2 different servers and 2 different xBox system. I have tried wired and wireless. The product simply won't connect to the system to pass the media. The disappointing part is that there is no help files. The web site currenlty has little data or provide little guidance. How can a refund be optained? New comments. The developer was respoonsive to the problems and has worked with me to understand the problem and help resolve the software. It works as expected and now both xBox systems are working as appleTV replacements. I've adjusted the rating for the effort and software.
