Turn your photos into amazing comic pages or create an entire comic book with Comic Life. Start with fully customizable templates or build your own pages with speech balloons, comic lettering, and photo filters so slick they can make your grandmother look like a superhero.

Comic Life isn't just for creating comics. You can retell a family vacation or capture a special day using your photos. It's simple to do: just drag photos onto the page and add your text in speech balloons and captions. Filter your images and add in some halftones or speedlines for more action.

With Comic Life you'll never look at your pictures the same way again.

The app that started a revolution. Comic Life burst onto the Mac scene in 2005 and caused a sensation winning both an Apple Design Award (for Best Product New to Mac OS X) and a Macworld Eddy. Now there's a bunch of new features:

Aaand I'm In Love - This app is fantastic! I've worked a lot with Comic Life 2 and just updraged to Comic Life 3. Best decision I've made in recent memory. I'm not sure where to start with all the goodness they added. Goodness numero uno - they built in a script writing section that lets you drag and drop text/lettering onto your comic. I've never seen that before! It makes lettering a comic super easy. Numero dos - the new filters are beautiful, with retro looks to painting and hatch pen drawing… just, wow. And they have Instant Alpha so you can overlap pics onto different backgrounds (eee!). Numero tres - graphics tools galore with speedline and halftone fills, new strokes that look like pens/pencils. For what it's worth I've loaded my first comic up with tons of high res photos over multiple pages just trying everything out, and the app seems to be running happily. The comic saved alright too. Not sure what the guy yesterday saw. I'm on a Macbook Pro.

very sad - I had comic life at my school for the children to use. When we printed off our comics the pixels were sufficient to create good quality collages. Now that I have a new computer and bought comic life 3 I was extremely disappointed that the pixels were so poor that the collage was blurry and very fuzzy looking. My pictures have high pixels, but the program changes them into poor quality when saved to print. Had to use another collage program to get a good quality collage picture to print. Very sorry I spent the money on this app.
