More Fun Than Prom Night! - This is where being an photo artist or a photo techie draws the line. What great creative fun without boundries. This is the most fun for ten bucks ever. It's like digital crayolas for adults and you don't have to stay within the line if you don't want to. I've dug into my old files and breath new and exciting life to some of my favorite images. This program is super intuitive from the start. I found having a Bamboo pad and stylus to be a huge advantage for fine detail coloring. It would be helpful to be able to isolate portions of the image, i.e., control specific parts with effecting others with the slide bar controls. Perhaps a "Save" and proceed function, thus keeping previous work done while concentrating on other image segments. I've posted some of my creations on my FB page and they drew lots of likes and raves. I haven't had this much legal fun since I took Mary Ann to the senior prom. Buy it, you'll love it. Same for all of the other Macphun programs. Five stars is an understatement.
Worthless for enlargements - While I have enjoyed seeing the results of this App, in actual use it is worthless. I take a nice hi-res document, work on it in ColorStrokes, and end up with a low-res file which is unusable for professionals wishing to make enlargements. There is nothing more disappointing than uploading to a photo printing service only to receive a message that they cannot print my new product. This is something that those interested should be aware of before purchasing it.

I love this app! - I have endless fun with this app. So many interesting ways to pop what you want to bring attention to or just try artistic ideas. Works well and quickly for me without any problems. Nice!
Just a Thoroughly Delightful App! - I”m not surprised that this app has such rave reviews. We thrill whenever a developer creates an application that has a sensible, delightfully functional, beautiful INTERFACE. It has all the applicable tools also, sitting right in front of you. I also like that it exists accross platforms - Mac, iPad, and iPhone all.
Color Splash - I have always wanted to be able to color my photos like this. When I asked someone they would never share their secret. Now I have one. Love the program! Its easy and it can make your photos profound and professional. What I would like to see improved is the ability to make smaller strokes. The smallest size to color does not do the best job when coloring fine lines or very small spaces. Other than that, it’s great!
I like! - Just got it and I can see how I can use this app in my projects!! Excited!
LOVING COLORSTROKES - Was looking for a fun way to edit some pictures and came across this app! Absolutely love it and it is fun although it takes time to edit detailed pics when you are wanting to change colors, etc. My only suggestion would be if there were a way to blend more when you have a pic that goes from EXAMPLE: grass to mulch…. in making the grass greener and the mulch tan/brown as it should be…. I would like to be able to blend it so that it looks natural instead of it being a straight line with regards to the way the landscape was done. Its that PERFECT in this location where the photo shoot was done. Other than this…. no complaints at all!
