Great App - Great Price - Although I’m gainfully employed, I found the $2.99 price beyond reasonable and, after using it, believe it could be a higher price point. Despite the numerous reviewers whining about the overwhelmeing cost - newsflash: quality apps are not free, and “trial” versons are for the end users benefit: testing - take their reviews with an important caveat: the price and complaints reflect the reviewers socioeconomic status, children who subsist on a weekly allowance.
Crap! - the colot picker feature is an app-pursues! I think you should satat that clearly in the description insted of fooling people to download the wronk app.. advice: do this as fast as possible or you will keep reciving a 1 star review

A good little app - Color Maker does not deserve all its bad reviews, just for charging a small fee for the picker feature. I’ve probably gone through half a dozen apps that do a similar job, but none that have worked as well as Color Maker. Purchase the picker, and get hex and RGB codes from anywhere, simpler than ever. The reasons I’m not giving five stars are 1) that the UI takes some getting used to, and could easily have designed to be more intuitive to OSX users, and 2) that I wish it were easier to create/edit .clr/.aco palettes/swatches, for use systemwide, instead of the native palettes in the app. But all in all, nothing to complain about.
Very Nice! one request! - Wish it could stay open and float to front of apps open! Agree with ChrKN
