What a neat little city game - After a bit of playing this, I can honestly say I like it. this was after a bit of frustration, because you have to learn how to play it. The tutorial is not the best in terms of being informative, because you have to go and click the check mark instead of click on the building. This is a FREEMIUM game. It is not Pay To Win. You can use real world money, but there honestly is not any need to. It throws the premium currency at you hand over fist anyway. You can safely play this game without worrying about the need to spend real money. Most items are done with the freebie currency anyway, so it’s not like it’s missed in-game. If you like city building games, this one is worth your time. BEST PRO: It’s Freemium and the need to spend real world money simply isn’t there. WORST CON: Having to click the check mark to place a building instead of clicking the building.

Pay to Play essentially - This is the kind of game that intices you to build things, but to build things you need gold and money which is so painfully slow to obtain in the game that you’re likely to buy the gold and cash with actual money. $2.99 here and then $4.99 for more and on and on. Pretty soon you’ve paid more to play this than had you bought a normal game for the upfront cost of $29.99 or more. Because you are basically forced to start from humble beginnings you’ll later realize you can maximize things by destroying what you have built or simple moving things around. If you do decide to destroy what you have built, the value you spent creating it is all lost. You’re basically nickeled and dimed to death. I doubt anyone plays this very long because you end up paying way too much. Even after you build a pretty good city, the dollars the city obtains for the businesses you create do not accumulate while you’re not playing. So if you buy and build a business that makes $10,000 in an hour for example, you have to be playing the game and clicking on the money icons that appear over the business else you forfit the money. If you come back 24 hours later, you don’t accumate $10,000 x 24 hours. You were not there to click on the money. So all you get is the $10,000 for clicking on the icon. Since the game is basically expensive to do anything, and money doesn’t accumulate on your behalf for the businesses you create, you’re basically forced to pay to get anything worth while built. Even so, it doesn’t accumate so what’s the point? The game is designed to do one thing and one thing only. Milk you out of real cash ongoing.
