ChronoSlider is a nice tiny tool to help you manage alarms and timers with a unique user interface.
Define a global hotkey and set an alarm or timer with only two mouse clicks. You choose the alarm time and a predefined alarm message with sliding your mouse across the screen.
Create your own Chronolings or use the predefined ones to execute timed (and recurring) AppleScript commands!
• Global Hotkey - access ChronoSlider from anywhere
• Set an alarm or timer with just two mouse clicks
• Intuitive and unique user interface
• Repeating alarms and timers
• Execute timed (and recurring) AppleScript commands with your own Chronolings
Sorry… Chronolings stopped working in version 2.0.5 due to sandboxing; this is now fixed!
However, it seems to be impossible to submit an App which can put the Mac into sleep mode. So this functionality is not working yet! I'm trying to find a solution…

For those who really get into their work - This app has saved me more than once from missing making an important phone call, getting to an appointment on time, picking the kids up, taking my meds…you get the picture. While I am not typically the irresponsible type, this timer makes me look a whole lot better than I am at "remembering" the little things I can't do right now but need to do in a few minutes. As an illustrator it's really easy to get into the work and time just starts warping. Chronoslider helps bend it back into shape.
More Reviews for Current Version
Broken, or utterly useless - No interface comes up, no documentation is available, no way to set timer, no way to FIND timer. Frustrating, and a complete waste of four bucks.
Great - Wonderful little timer. I use it frequently and haven't had any problems.
Current version broken on Sierra - Crashes when trying to open or activate slider interface
