Description:

Chopper 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the best selling Mac and App Store classic Chopper.

Chopper 2 features 36 action packed missions over 12 unique and beautiful locations. It features a completely re-written 3D game engine, all new enemies, weapons, graphics, and missions, while still retaining the classic side scrolling game-play.

Escort a convoy of vehicles across the desert, or defend a train from enemies emerging from underground mines. Use your laser sight to line up enemies emerging from stairwells in the city. Chase down lines of enemy tanks and choppers while avoiding heat seeking missiles, gunfire and bird strike. Help your allies defend against advancing armies, and rescue stranded civilians, all while trying to complete your mission as fast as possible for the highest score.

Chopper 2 uses high resolution graphics and effects built for display right up to 2560x1600 pixels. It uses keyboard and mouse for control, and features a 17 minute long original soundtrack.

If you also have an iPhone or iPod Touch, you can use the fantastic remote control feature to wirelessly control the Mac version with an iPhone or iPod Touch over WiFi. Simply download the free 'Chopper 2 Wireless Controller' app from the App Store.

A must-have game. - This indie game is so polished that you'll often lose yourself in contemplating the sunsets and terrain in the background and the atmosphere of the game when you should be piloting your nimble little death-bringer to the doom of the terrorist scum below. Of course, you always end up snapping back to attention just as that SAM is about to smack into your tail rotor… Gameplay is simple and addictive. You'll end up playing certain missions over and over, because it's just so much fun to try to wipe out an enemy base or a column of tanks as elegantly as you can; others you'll want to play to explore the beautiful terrain. It's amazing that this is the work of just one guy. I hope he releases a level pack some day: it would be cool to see more of his vision of the world, especially some jungle or swamp levels, and to fly around in that vision killing tiny little terrorists.

Game Gltchesi - As soon as I loaded up the game, every thing was purple and pixelated. I hope this is fixed in a next update. BTW, I am running on a mackbook air with a core i5 processor.

Awesome Game! - I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this game. It is a work of art both in visuals and in playability, simple yet challenging. Get this game for the Mac and for your iDevice if you have one, or at least get the free remote controller for your iDevice to control your game onthe mac. A very fun game especially using the iPhone to control the chopper.

Orphanware? - This game was great! ...until... Since replacing my iPod Touch with an iPhone 5 using iOS 6, the REMOTE function no longer works for me! (The connection drops after a few seconds, or fails to complete initial calibration) I USED to be able to control the Mac version of the game (on an iMac) using any mobile iOS device on the same WIFI network to control movement. It was awesome! "Was" being the key word. The game still works if you just want to play it on the tiny screen of the iPhone 5 (although, I am rather annoyed that even though the iPhone 5 has been out for longer than 6 months, they still haven't published an update that allows the game to utilize the full screen of the iPhone 5), or if you want to use the keyboard to clumsily control the Mac version, but I purchased the iOS version of this game AND the Mac version at the same time, with the intention of playing using the iPod or iPhone as the controller for the Mac version. (Which used to work great!) PLEASE UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE!!! It has been almost a year and a half since your last update, and it is obvious that updates are now required!

Just Okay - Not that good. - The game is really just so-so. The game is pretty boring most of the time and the shooting controls feel very unconfrotable. It's a pain to aim your gun. Egh - not the best game even for a buck. I've seen better free games that are really entertaining.
