Sorry - but I hate this version - #1, the dock icon looks kinda cheap; #2, there aren't any choices in background/pieces/boards; #3, the CPU moves are lightning quick; 4) the stock chess app is far better and free; #5, at least it was only $3, so I don't feel super horrible having just purchased this game.

No Draw By Repetition or Draw By Material - The chess engine is strong, in fact, being about a 1400 rated player on a typical day, this chess engine beat me most of the time, not really spending more than a few seconds per move. My point is, I think most players are going to be beaten constantly by this chess engine at the easiest level. Add to that, the lack of Draw by Repetition, or Draw by Material, and many new players may find themselves pushing the pieces late into the night. The current version needs work, but check back for a newer release than my review, because they clearly did some hard work to develop a product this good. Just needs to be a littel better.

No help or instructions - This is my first time to play chess on the computer. We were unable to start the game by moving a pawn! A waaste of 3.99.
