Needs an update for Yosemite - The little calendar icon over on the bar on top of the screen no longer appears on my computer after I downloaded the most recent OS. Is it just me or does the app need to be updated to where it shows up there so I can quickly click on it. Other than that it’s an amazing app.
What am I missing here? - I am really baffled by all these 5-star reviews. I downloaded this app so I could have a calendar that would sync my work and personal calendars; I wanted to have a way to see ALL my commitments on one calendar. Imagine my shock when I opened this and the sync option was to sync with iCal. Period. That's it. So if you want a calendar that makes an exact copy of a calendar you already have on your Mac, woohoo! You win. But that is obviously nonsensical. This calendar is useless unless you want TWO copies of what's on your iCal. If there is a way to sync other calendars, namely Google calendars, let me know; otherwise, I stand by my one-star review.

Works nicely overall, but ... - [I wrote this comment a couple of versions back, but failed to submit it. Haven't seen the particular failure recently, but other comments are still valid.] This morning, I had Calendar go into a CPU-bound loop (200% of CPU) which ended only when it crashed. When restarted, it did the same thing. Exiting from iCal and restarting worked. OK, everyone has bugs, and I would have been happy to send along the crash dump and details as to what lead up to it to a support address. Except ... there isn't one. The only support interface seems to be a Facebook page. I don't have, or want, a Facebook account - and the page is rather "busy" and it isn't clear if there's really a place to fully report a problem anyway. I'm not about to join Facebook to find out. [Further comments] After using the product for many months and finding it useful, I ended up paying for it, because I believe the developers deserve to be pad. In fact, I really don't care about any of the "paid only" options. The fancy backgrounds are more distracting than useful, and I don't need Facebook or Google calendar integration. The weather display is mildly useful. If the developers aIctually read this, I do have one suggestion: When Calendar2 pops up, it always shows the day's appointments starting with the first. By early afternoon, I often find that I'm looking entirely at earlier appointments, and I have to scroll to see the upcoming ones. It would be nice if the viewer always scrolled so that the current time was visible.
