Superb app! - I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time, it’s great to see musicians and programmers collaborating to make this possible. This software really is for advanced players, and when I say that, I mean that it isn’t of very much use yet to beginning and intermediate musicians who are not yet playing the major concerto repertoire for their instruments. I’m sure that in time that material will be added as the product matures. For example, if you are a violinist and are familiar with the Suzuki Method, other than the Bach Double Concerto (which appears in books 4/5), if you aren’t past Suzuko Books 9 and 10, the chances are you probably haven’t played the majority of the works available for the instrument. As a violin teacher who works with students on lots of this music (Mendelssohn, Bruch, Lalo, Mozart, etc.) this app is a fantastic teaching tool!
CRAP!!!!! - I got so excited to be able to play violin romance as if i was the soloist But to my dismay the conductor is deaf. When I CAN get it to start correctly on time, by the fifth measure it holds on the b flat and doesnt continue with me. SOOOOOOOOO disappointed. Glad I didnt pay for it. Really sad :(

Had Potential…. - This app had the Potential to be great. It was the answer to what I had been searching for and spent $40 dollars on music and upgrades; however, despite its pros, the shortcomings were a bit too irritable for me. 1. The Orchestra’s volume is way too soft. Even when plugged to External speakers, there is no increase in volume. Dissapointing… 2. Because of the problems in #1, I used headphones, something bugged the third time I used it and blasted an immensely loud static into my ears. Not a good thing to be exposed to when you are a musician. My ears are still ringing… 3. The orchestra does not go any slower. If the tempo is a Presto then the orchestra expects a presto, please make tempo adjustable so that slow/ comprehensive rehearsals that allow us to practice more comprehensively can be possible. Please keep developing this app. It has lots of extraordinary benefits, yet the bugs still need to be worked on. I don’t want to be exposed to any loud static noises via In-ear earbuds that has potential to impair hearing. As you keep improving, I will resume to purchase music from you, as this is a great tool for learning. Sincerely, Conservatory Student
A great practice tool and a great start - The first statement in the product description, claiming it is the first and only product to follow or anticipate is untrue- SmartMusic does this and has been for years. However, SM does NOT use real orchestral recordings for accompaniments. That makes this stand out and gives it great promise. I would like to see: *Full screeen compatibilty. *The ability to purchase full pieces, not only movements. *More repertoire. *Expanded instrument list to include trombone & tuba. This is off to a GREAT start.
Great App - This app is fantastic and indcredibly useful. My only complaint is that there is no Saint Saens Violin Concerto No. 3 available to purchased.
