All in one - I've used other disk cleaners and this is definitively the best. It makes a very quick scan in three ways: Places, Folders and Files, and gives you the option to organized them by their weight, using 5 diferent intervals, so you have the detailed overview of yor disk in one place. You are able to see promptly whats taking out your disks space and, even more, this app will warn you when your disk is getting full. Totally recommended.

No use to download this app - The app is very misleading, It says "A quck overview of the places on your disk, where you can immediately and safely free up some precious space. I clicked on downloads where it said that i could free 19gbs. It turns out that all that button does is deletes your entire download folder's contents. It says that it will safely clean the folder, which made me think that it would only pick out junk files. If you want the same results as this app, please just save your time and use "Command-A" then right click and then click move to trash. This app has no special functions that I couldn't do by myself with a few clicks.

Version 1.2.2

Works as Described - I’ve been using Broom for a year or so now. I updated to the newest version a week or so ago. Works as described. I like having tools that automatically alert me to possible “problems.” I use SmartReporter to alert me to possible problems with my internal boot drive. I use Broom to alert me to the boot drive filling up and slowing the system response for various reasons. It’s easy to delete files/folders using the Broom interface. The hassle comes when Broom says I’m using more than 85% of the drive space (I set it to that value) and I can’t find anything of significant size to delete—Time for a bigger drive OR hard decision time on what to delete or move to another drive.
