Simple functionality, beautiful implementation - As advertised, this app provides a gentle nudge every so often to get away from the screen and go do something else. The calming images and hints were an unexpected and charming bonus. It notices if you've been away for a while, and only starts its timing for the next break after you start in again -- very appropriate. After using it for a week, I have found it to be a very unintrusive, yet effective, reminder. I do find myself wishing for a "snooze" option, so that when the break comes up I could choose to be reminded again in just a few minutes (let me choose: 2, 5, 10, 15…) so I can keep going a little to reach a good stopping point. Otherwise, just great.
Not functioning - I have 10.8.5; the app will not open in any fashion to allow preferences to be set.
