A must buy for any Mac/PC gamer - I bought this game a couple of weeks ago and i am extremely pleased with my purchased. I am running this application on a 2013 macbook pro with a 2.5 GHz Inetl Core i5 processer and 4GB of RAM and it runs FLAWLESSLY. Even after consecutive hours of gameplay, there is no lag and the graphics are incredible. The application downloaded in about an hour and a half over a standard comcast internet connection. The story is extremely addictive and multiplayer is also a very fun addition. I am an experienced mac gamer and i have many other titles on my mac such as Dead Rising 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Black Ops 2 and many others and this game is one of my favorites. I use a PS3 Dualshock controller as well as an Xbox 360 controller and they work beautifully with this game, you don’t even need an external app to use the controllers with the game. Pros: Easy to play PS3 and Xbox 360 controllres both work with game No lag, even with 4GB RAM, even after 3+ hours of gameplay addictive story line Cons: A little pricy Because this game is so addicting, I lost a significant amount of sleep becuase i stayed up all night playing for several days straight

Dozens of bug fixes? How about a launch crashing bug - Won’t even start - 11/13: Found a workaround. 1. Open the GameCenter app. 2. Sign out completely. 3. Launch Borderlands 2 4. Ignore the GameCenter opt-ins and play single player. Thats the only mode that works right now. UGH! New update, now it crashes right after it loads. Takes 75 seconds to start and then crash. Very disappointing.

Start up crash - The app crashes before it can even open. This latest update obviously has some serious problems.

Crashes at startup - All the pre-load screens (2K, Gearbox, etc) go by, then the Borderlands logo with a “press any key” prompt. Then, after pressing the key, you get a glimpse of the first game load screen ("Choose your character” etc.), before it crashes. FAIL.

I thought the DLC was in-app purchased - But when I started the game it didn’t show any of the DLC that was said to have in-app, instead I have the standard game with just the four Vault Hunters and the main campaign. Now the game is working very well in my MacPro but I’m a little confused as to why the DLC is not included. If this is a problem then please tell what I have to do to get the full package of the game AND NOT JUST THE STANDARD GAME. Then maybe I’ll rate this a bit hire and enjoy the game a lot more. Thank you. Edit: Okay I found the problem, but it tells me that I have to pucrchase the DLC in-app, as in it wasn’t what I was thinking and now I feel like and idiot.

Borderlands 2 Review (Apple Appstore Version) - This game is one of my favorite games of all time. I can’t think of another game that made me feel like an action hero more than this game. The graphics are really good. Even from 2012, this game still looks great. The gameplay is complex and fun and the story had me hooked from beginning to end. The guns, the grenades, and the items, oh my God (Hehehe)! I never played a shooter with so many guns, grenades, and items. This game is filled to the brim with content. However, there is a huge issue with the Apple Appstore version of the game. Unfortunatly, for anyone who got the Appstore version instead of the Steam version, there is no public matchmaking. If they could add an update that adds public matching to play with other people, even with people playing the game on Steam, that would be awesome. As it is, this is a awesome game that I would recommend to anyone. Just get the Steam version if you want to do public matches.
