Great software... - This is a fantastic piece of software. I saw it had low ratings and couldn't believe it. But then I came and saw that people were whining about it bc apparently they can't read. I guess the other possibility is that they've never heard of shareware or demos. So, perhaps they just haven't used a computer since…1990. It should also be noted that these people aren't actually reviewing the software, they are just moaning bc apparently everything in their life isn't free. FREE DOWNLOAD IS NOT EQUAL TO FREE SOFTWARE. The software is intuitive, quick, and easy. The process is not flawless at first, but after only a few minutes, you're kicking out invoices, which is exactly what businesses need from invoicing software. Well done.

Misleading - It is not free. Apple should remove over this. Free should be free end of story.

Used to be great - Used to be great. Then they switched to a subscription. Not worth it, there are plenty out there that incorporate this in the price and not a subscription model.

Love Billings Pro - I have used Billings Pro for about 4 months after launching my consulting legal buisness for small, start up companies. Along with the iOS app, this program does everyting I need it to do, and for the most part very well. It’s stable, it syncs properly, so that I can pick up on MacOS where I left off on iOS and it has been indispensible for getting my invoices out timely and for tracking them. I don’t necessarily need or want to mess with creating customized invoice templates. I picked one that is the most normal looking, filled out my information on my tradename and address and even put my bank information for ACH payments. It works pretty well. You have to figure out that what you need to to is to make the “description” of the timeslip the detail describing the task, because that’s how it shows up in the invoice, rather than wasting your time with length descriptions in the description field. Small trade off, no big deal, but leads to brevity. Also, you have to figure out that you need to “complete” your time slip as you do it, so that when you render the invoice, your individual time entries will show in some sensible order. But the program is flexible enough for you to be able to edit time and to manually configure write downs (I wish there was an ability to just enter a bulk discount when you preview an invoice, but can’t find it). I also find it’s better to create and do your timeslips in the iOS version, because the timer is easier to start and stop than what the OS version givies you. But assign it to a “project” (in legal terms a “matter”) and away you go. Recently, after 4 months I decided I needed to create a Master Revenue Spreadsheet to track invoices and payments, and alas, Billings Pro did that for me!!! I track them by invoice by client in one place and it tells me quickly how much they are so that I can go back and make sure I got paid. Only thing I wish they did there, was let me export the report into Excel so that I can manipulate the information, but I will make do. For a small legal practice (solo), the program is really the best of what is out there. $9.99 or $99 a year (I do monthly because I wasn’t sure how long I was going to be doing this).
