Great job Developers! - Free… 5 stars! It's a mechanical modeler on mac! What they have so far is a great program that you can draw, design and build functioning assemblies. The forum said they were adding in some features this month like Measuring solids. Keep it up Developers and keep investing in the OSX platform.

Perfect when not crashing / Perfeito quando não trava - English This software is very good when it doesn't crash. You can draw almost anything and it's very fast to learn how to use it. The major problem is that it crashes almost everytime you open it, when you're drawing, when you attempt to open some saved files. Another issue is the Autodesk support. They don't do anything. I'm whaiting for 3 months for a reply, and nothing until now. Because of this, I'm giving it 1 star here. But this software could be very good if this problems are fixed. I realy don't know why Apple aproved this software. It's so buggy.

Almost there - It looks so good, and it wants to be awesome. But it's a pity that in order to draw a regular polygon, I have to do it line by line…with no way to apply circular patterns to line objects. A polygon tool USED to be in here. That's one small example of the many gotchas. You'd better have drawn your project exactly dimensioned on paper before you reach for the mouse, because for all the effort to make this seamlessly parametric, trying to move several lines in a sketch makes things go nuts. The ability to dimension between two arbitrary points, or the ability to create construction lines in a reasonable manner…such things are required before you can legitimately call it a CAD tool. That is why this is free. It's pretty, but is still a toy. It will not save you time compared to your rusty old copy of AutoCAD 2000. When this software is ready, it's going to be awesome though.

Needs real features - On the surface this program works fine for doing basic CAD. However, when I need to get some serious work done this program fails. Assembly files are a joke. Integration between windows and PC is horrible. File Exporting is not optimized like it is for Inventor Professional. Autodesk, we need Inventor Professional for Mac. I understand your driectx 9 limitations but please configure a full Professional version. I want to be able to CAD for real on my Mac without installing nasty windows.

THread/ Loft Tool - I find the app to fantastic. I love using it. The one thing that I personally dislike, is that it is missing the thread command, loft command, and coil command, which is a bummer since they are very useful. If the developers had those tools, the rating would have been 5 stars. Also, I don't like the fact that you have to create polygons using individual lines. If these minor bugs got fixed, this app would be amazing. All in all, it is a great app.

Crashes and You will looses your drawing - I normally don’t write reviews. But I am very frustrated. I picked this program because I wanted to get into 3d printing and need a good inexpensive cad program. I know the Autodesk name from a previous job so I thought I would give them a try. First what I did like. 1) It was easy to learn. I few videos and I was off. Now for the long list of what I don’t like. 1) I crashes a LOT. In a 2 hour session It will crash at least once. 2) I loose my drawings a regular basis. I load the file and enable the part by “selecting the light bulb” in the work flow but the part is gone. I can highlight it and I can see the shadow part. But the model seems to be gone (not visible). I have checked the workflow and all the models are selected as visible. 3) There where various work abounds for things I wanted to do. Like import other drawings. However it will only “place” an step file. I looked all over there web sight for this but could not find it. Final I found a youtoob video from a user. Summary I am angry. I can handle lack of functionality if there is some other way to do it. But lots of crashing and loosing the models is unacceptable. I have just wasted money and my time with this program. I feel that this program is just a way to funnel people over to Fusion 360 an get 40 bucks a month out of people. I am dumping Auto desk. Im not a big enough customer for them to care about this program.
