Auto Sport Driving
Auto Sport Driving is a casual racing sim designed specifically for OS X. Realistic car physics and AI based on the VGP3 engine create a game that is easy to pick up and play, but difficult enough to keep you on your toes. Steering wheel and gamepad support help to create more immersive gameplay along with built in 3D support through anaglyph and anachrome technology. Compete for bragging rights online with online lobby server support too. Four racing series and six tracks (with an extra track layout making seven) with updates always in the works to add more content to this ambitious indie game. Do you have what it takes to master this game?

Hands down the best simulator for Mac! - Personally, I have tried every racing game there is to know on mac, and nothing comes close to this. The physics, and detail put into the cars mechanical construction is remarkable! For someone that truly wants to increase their race craft off the track, and doesn't have the accesiblity to PC like simulator's, this is the game for you! For fans of the similar racing simulators, (Iracing, rFactor, etc) do not be afraid to try this amazing game! Mac's have truly been given the wrong image as a computer that isnt for gaming... and I guarantee you this game will prove you wrong! To play other pc games like this on a mac, one must purchase a pc operating system, then partition their drive, then set up the drivers and blah blah blah. Its just to much time and effort needed when you have everything you need right here! For optimum experience, a wheel and pedal is a must have. A worthy investment for such a great offer on a game of this level. I can not wait to see what is in store for this game down the road!

One of the best driving sims that have EVER existed. - This game is one of the best racing games that have ever existed. First of all, it looks great, like you're actually there. Adding on to that, it's COLORFUL, something we're losing out on most racing games today. Secondly, the game runs smoothly, at around SIXTY frames per second. Amazing. Third of all, there's the gameplay itself, which is astonishing on how it is done. Although some may say that the cars are "unresponsive", this can be countered by skillful driving. Also, the cars are unique and all have a different driving style that you can use on them. Furthermore, this game really captures the spirit of simulation driving to its full potential. That said, the track design is also brilliantly done. There are some hard hairpins on city courses, to the long, graceful bends of the open road. This game has also taken me back over the years ever since I was playing Daytona USA 2 and SCUD Race and all the like, and they all had a similar, fun feel to them. Even though this game is completely engineered differently, the game itself still has that classic racing "magic" to it. Some of the simpler courses got me hooked all the way from square one with Auto Sport Driving. The Merkoso was like the Porsche 911 from SCUD Race, the Pribissom like the Ferrari F40, the 357F (Formula 3 Car?) is like the Dodge Viper, and the Venom is like the McLaren F1. Even though this game is AMAZING and addictive, I would recommend buying a RACING WHEEL for the game because a wheel deals with the unresponsiveness to an exponential degree. Also, this game may need these minor improvements: 1. A "Tips" section for new drivers to get started 2. MORE CARS! 3. MORE TRACKS! (And longer ones too!) 4. Maybe a damage model? (Not too much that it will take over the game) 5. Car tuning/setup 6. Bigger starting grid! (20, 40, 60, 80 car starting grid?) 7. Weather and time changing Other than these seven minor things this game needs, this is one of the best racing games on the App Store ever.
An Alternative for Mac Racing - I have been trying to be an avid race simulator driver, but owning a Mac makes that difficult. I often use BootCamp to run in PC mode to play games on the PC using my G25 wheel. I finally found this game for the mac so I can play when I'm Jonesing for some auto action. I have played it off and on… not many hours logged. I'm happy at the ease of use and speed of start up. The game runs smoothly and it never crashed. My wheel works well with a bit of tweaking. The steering feels a bit unresponsive… I watch the other cars in a race take a high speed turn, but when I turn the wheel, it just kind of sometimes doesn't seem to want to turn. I'm not sure if the wheel is going lock to lock or not. But if you want a decently priced racing game to run on your Mac, this is it!
Not Very Impressive - I bought this game years ago, and I see it still has not been updated. It seemed to have some potential at the time, but was very buggy. The racing game that I loved, Redline, was being abandoned by its creator. The crew I raced with decided to test it out together. It was early days according to the developer, and would be further developed. This was not true, and he was very very unresponsive to support. Not a good choice if you like smoothness in graphics, or good physics. Recommend looking elsewhere.
