Worth paying for! - I was using the free version of this app previously. Having upgraded to Lion, I thought I might support the author's work by buying the appstore version. I am glad I did. The new version is even simpler to use and is much faster as a bonus. Compared to the free version, there is almost zero decisions to make and the outcome is positive every time. Drag drop all your audio files into audiobook wizard and click build. I am not big into tagging with artwork etc as I tend to delete my books after listening to them, so I don't bother. But that functionality is available if needed. Just click the tag icon before you build. One problem I had with the free version was creating long audiobooks (more than 10 hours), where I would have to manage the process by breaking up the book into 2 parts. In the paid version, this now happens automagically.

Does Not Work - First, before buying, realize that there is a free version that exists for people with Snow Leopard or earlier. Second, I have not been able to get the program to work. It permanently locks up in the finalizing stage.

Powerfully Simple - Awesome App. I am always going to my local library and checking out audiobooks on cd. With this app, it is simple and easy to make an audiobook for iTunes. I have used it many times. 1. Load audiobook cds into iTunes (as songs). 2. Use Audiobook Wizard to create an audiobook from the song files. 3. Delete audiobook song files from iTunes. 4. Done

This is a great program - I have been using this app for years to create audiobooks from my mp3 and CD audiobooks. It allows you to put things in order, add an image, and basically just makes it easy to create a great audiobook from the files that you already own. If you are creating from CD’s, you can have iTunes combine all the tracks into one before you rip the CD. It is an amazing program and has served me well for a long time.
