Assaulty Commander Ultimate - Pretty good turn based game...I love the challenge...similar to chess except the other side always starts out with more pieces and you have to play comeback!

Review by Wyona

Good idea marred by poor implementation - It could have been decent, but the game is marred by too many bad programming choices. The game is a tactical board war game, written in Flash I think, that has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it is poorly executed. Possibly the most annoying design error is that the control panel is an overlay over the bottom part of the map, hiding some map squares, and making it much too easy to make selection errors of board pieces. In fact any error the user makes, and you will make many because of the poor method used to display the map and the poor use of the mouse as a controller, is uncorrectable. Add the difficulty of control to the total lack of instructions of how the map and pieces work and you have a game only a war board game fan who doesn't mind playing an alpha version would enjoy. And don't get me started on the lack of logic of how the battle pieces behave and interact. Not recommended.

Does not render. Need directions and support. - It looks like this could be a fun board type strategy game. However, the text does not render on a macbook pro os x 10.8.5. Specifically, I'm talking about the text in the menu and game control bar. There are no game directions. There are no posted FAQs. And there is no support email. I agree with the other review that the execution is extremely poor. Please post fixes, how to fix and directions.
