Beautiful! - Every time one of these paintings shows up on my desktop, I just smile. They are some of the most brilliant work form some of the most brilliant painters, celebrated in museums all over the world. Please note, they don’t just show up on your desktop. You open the app and nothing appears to happen. Go to the top of your screen, find the little “A” and click on it. Then hit the refresh circular arrow, and a painting will appear. This is the best desktop appearance app I have seen in years! My only slight gripe is that there should be a very prominent instruction note that tells you how to use it. It took me a while to figure it out, and I see that some have complained that it does “nothing.” It does. You just have to click the little “A."

Wasted alot of time for nothing... - So, downloaded and installed the app. Didn’t care for alot of the paintings that come as the default set, but thought I woul save some faves and select the option to display only favorites. The app will only let me save 1 painting as a fave! I selected a number of them and clicked the blue heart icon, but only the first clicked item was actually saved. Pretty much renders the app useless.

Great Art-wallpapers - I love the app so far works great! I’m using the free version though I might upgrade because I do like it and I’d love more variety. Still debating I’m on a budget

) - I’ve long looked for a way of dealing with my second monitor which is part of a music workstation used a few hours a day. The incredible free art work (tons of free paintings and photos) not only work as great desktop backgrounds, but also as a kind of ad-hoc screen saver for my second monitor, changing often enough to prevent burn in (change can be set up at intervals ranging from ½ hourly to static). Don’t be put off by the availability of “In-App Purchases.” There’s a huge selection of free images, all of excellent quality. I especially like the ability to select a favourites list and then rely on those till I feel like exploring more of this great library of fine art, a library that ranges from early renaissance through modern works. The menu bar interface is well organised and easy to use. I’ve no regrets. This is a great program.
