Felt tricked - When I saw the Linkedin “logo” (or so that is what it looked like to me when I first saw it), I didn’t give it much thought and automatically clicked to get the app (thinking in the back of my head that it was odd that they were now charging $0.99 for their app instead of providing it free of charge - whatever, I thought, casually dismissing this incongruency). It was only after I had clicked the ‘Buy” button that I realized that this was a third-party app, NOT an actual Linkedin app (yes, I now see that its name is actually “App for …” and that the logo has been slightly altered from the true Linkedin logo, as well as the brief legal disclaimer - BTW, I am not seeking anything except to express my reaction to this buying experience). I fully admit that as the buyer I should have responsibly more fully exerised my ‘beware’ function pressing the “Buy" button, but I must also convey that I feel like I was in essence fooled into giving up a buck for something that is not what it appeared to be (at least upon first glance). I guess the real Linkedin does not care that the logo for this “App for…" looks so similar to their actual logo. Anyway. I will try out this non-Linkedin app for accessing/using the real Linkedin. However, I would suggest that there is consideration for changing the logo so it is not trying to look just like the real Linkedin app. My two cents worth anyway. My rating is based on this issue alone - I have not yet actually tried the app. One should buy something because they want it, not as a result of being fooled into thinking it is something else. If I find I like the app I will increase my star rating, but will always shave off points for the issue noted.

Buggy - Doesn’t register its own “voyager://“ URI scheme on installation, which means that error messages about “unable to find app associated with this URI” keep popping up (and on top of all workspaces) every few seconds - and for some reason, the app can’t be associated with that URI scheme, even when you try to do it manually. Highly annoying. Features & benefits aren’t worth *that*.

Can only initiate basics; no multitasking. - I tried copying and pasting a title, then wanted to also copy and paste a link to our company homepage, but once the app is not in the forefront everything gets deleted. You have to put everything in a post on the first try, or nothing gets suspended in the background. Tried the other LinkedIn app offered and it has that ability. Other than that, I like that this app is compact and can be a quick go-to. Unfortunately, it doesn’t meet my needs as the other does.

THis is a fake application - What legit applications would have 4 typos on their App Store “page”. Shame on Apple for allowing this crap. Don’t download it!
